If you totally fell head over heels in love with someone.
But there is a few quirks that drive you crazy.
Would you ask him/her to change? or put up with it?
Also, what if that person will not change those quirks for you
or anyone. They think you are trying to change them.

I think it depends on the quirk. I am a very neat person, so if he were messy, I would ask him to work on that out of respect for me, and I would try to overlook as much as possible out of respect for him. If it was something like gum snapping, I would ask him to try not to do it around me. I think in the long term, my annoyance would fade as I got used to the quirk.
If his quirk was something illegal or dangerous, that would be a dealbreaker for me, as would cheating, bisexuality, crossdressing, etc.

Very good but tough question - little quirks need to learn to be tolerated because they aren't harmful and we have some they don't like either. However, there are those quirks that can really affect a relationship such as how a person handles their finances, their health, and their home. If I eat a lot of healthy organic food fresh made and my partner only eats out at fast food joints won't this affect how we can interact? I don't know but I think over time it might bother me.
Sorry, I guess I don't really know but will definitely keep an eye on this thread to see if I can learn something.
Great subject -

If you really like someone you accept the good with the bad...the quirks as you call them make each person unique so if those very things bother you so much then maybe you should re-evaluate if they are the one for you.

I agree with katrina
Also if you decide to ignore it, how long can you ignore it?
Hey we all have quirks.

It depends on the quirks. Everyone has quirks some horrible, some you can deal with.

Greetings,
My advice would be to be slow, deliberate, truthful, dilligent, trusting yet cautious, open but a hesitant bride, always take the high road and when the moment is right . . . when you really know . . . when the very core of you cries out for that person . . . Go For It . . Carpe Diem . . .
Jacta alia est (I suck at Latin)
Strike while your iron is hot . . . don't back off . . . be . . um, TRUE to you love . . . be forthright & honorable . . .
and then . . . you have no choice but to wait . . . by then you should be truly aware and in love . . . and when you have second thoughts go to the mirror and look at the man that she has professed love to . . . guess what? He's not perfect either . . . and life is short but my love is long (no puns, please) . . .
Do you homework, talk, trust, share . . . back off and let each other adjust . . . but always be noble and true to the real cause . . . God loves you and wants you to experience JOY, so be honest to God, yourself, and your LOVE and you both will experience a joy greater than what you can provide just for yourself.
It takes faith, guts, hard work, and a great big heart
Then you'll get this and a good night's sleep.
Love rocks!!!
But then again . . . what the hell do I know? . . .
well, I know an Angel when I see one . . .
I start with the eyes . . . a window to the soul
I look at their very foundation . . . beauty from the ground up . . .
I look for humility . . .
and you can really tell something about how a person LOVES when you look in the eyes of their LOVED ONES
Only they can decide if they want to love you back. So you have to wait and see . . .
Nuff said?
Peace and love and . . . well HOPE!!!!!

is being considered a quirk? if so, then some quirks cannot be discussed. unless under the supervsion of a trained professional. or do u mean like: picking one's nose during dinner. that kind of quirk?

SONG TITLE:
LOVE IS IN THE AIR (John Paul Young)
LYRICS:
Love is in the air
Everywhere I look around
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes
Love is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air
In the thunder of the sea
And I don't know if I'm just dreaming
Don't know if I feel sane
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when you call out my name
(Chorus)
Love is in the air
Love is in the air
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Love is in the air
In the rising of the sun
Love is in the air
When the day is nearly done
And I don't know if you're an illusion
Don't know if I see it true
But you're something that I must believe in
And you're there when I reach out for you
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes

Everyone has quirks. Have to decide it they are dealbreakers. If not, try to love their quirks, too, because their quirks are part of them. No one is quirk-free.

If he did things that drove me crazy there is no way I could fall head over heels in love with him. The quirks would drive me nuts and I would end it before I would ask him to change.

Everyone has quirks. There's things about me that probably irritate him too. You need to take the good with the bad. And don't sweat the small stuff. If the quirks are too hard to deal with and are "deal breakers", then end it.
