I think I have finally found the one then he turns into someone that is completely different than the person that I though I met. Why do some men put up a front? Why not be honest and save everyone alot of time??

I have met a one guy on here that was how you described but I think both men and women do this. I have spoken to that many guys who tell me that the woman they meet is always obese compared to her photo. So the question I have is why are women lying to men about what they really look like and putting up a different photo. Are they really expecting a relationship out of it when they have lied to begin with?

I know somewhat why "some" people do it.
Some people don't like themselves and they feel that if they don't paint this picture of perfection towards someone they are interested in, that person would not accept them for who they really are.

you know i think i pushed a guy away once when i was too accomodating...i think that i seemed too desperate in my pursuit of him and it may have been a turn off...im going with grill_master with this one....take it slow if anything (but not too slow ).

I will tell you the signals are not mixed it is the way women interprete them . Alot of time women do not give nice guys the time of day but if you act like an A$$hole they will love you. Women also have the habit of trying to change men when a person show you who they are throughthere actions that is what you need to beleive
