in those days they what women were saying wasnt that important. in fact when they go through the who begat who they dont even mention the women who really did the begetting.
these days when i read the bible i generally read the words in red that jesus said.

Ok your probably not going to like this but... If you look at the evolution of religion you will see that back in the pagan religions(Earth worship is not Satanism) women had ALL the power, they were the heads of the religions. Like the earth they brought and nurished new life from them selves, because of this they were revered as the Earth incarnate the mortal extention of there creator.
You ask why the Bible was writen only by men, Because they were jealous of women and there conection to the creator. You could say they felt that women were loved more by the creator, so they started changing there religions until women were the less part. Thats why women were not alowed education the men were afraid the women would take control over their lives again.

OK now the bible was written mostly by men but not totally because remember there was a couple of book that was written by woman and that was the book of Ruth and there was another but I can't remember it off hand but woman did play a important role in the bible. Now the Bible was written by man inspired by the holy spirit. you see man is the head and incharge of everything and thats why God talked to and through man but he did do work through woman to but the bible is doneand everything that has happen in the past present and future is happening has happen and going to happen so don't try to figure out or reason with the word because that is the way God wanted thing to be

Those are just some women mentioned in the Bible. There are a few chapters written by women, but not many. My XMIL gave me that book and it was helpful in that it reminded me that there were many more mentioned than I remembered, but the book did not help her cause.
I just feel there were more women spoken to than was written and they were edited out by a group that wished to silence some. It is a good book, a helpful book but to me, it feels as if there are pieces of the story missing. It always has felt that way to me, even as a child.
