Ok my fellow broken hearts, here's my story:started seeing a man that was so attentive, always had a great time together, no matter what we were doing. Had talked about spending the rest of our lives together.I felt like I finally had someone I could count on to be there no matter what.We hsd been together for 4 years.
The day after St Patrick's Day I opened my email thinking he had sent me a poem (I'm Irish)only to discover he made it up for another woman that he's known for years, that is also an ex lover!!This is a woman he says he hasn't seen in 10 years, but the email reads different. In the email not only did I receive what was intented for her, but I also received her reply to him !!He says it's no big deal. And implied I had something to do with it !! So whats your take on this? This is driving me crazy

Well if it was meant for someone else I think I would add my comments and forward it to the other party, (with my comments of coarse) wouldn't want it to get lost in cyber space.

Wow, I dont understand how you got that email. It had to be sent to you deliberately. if she had already replied to it, then why would he forward it to you instead of using the reply option if he was writing back to her? Im a bit confused. when was the email written and sent to her, before or after you two agreed on a relationship? Was he professing his love for her? I dont think I would be comfortable with this situation. Good luck hun..

He's also trying to put YOU on the defensive by implying you had something to do with it. That right there tells me he's manipulation you.

Hey........I would be totally crushed but I guess it depends on what was said to decide if I would forgive him and move on. As far as the blame game, if he keep that up, kick his butt goodbye. He somehow screwed up. It is his fault and don't take any blame.
TRUST, HONESTY AND RESPECT............if you don't have that in the relationship, move on.

I was conversing with a young lady,,who seemrd to all into me,,,was great, until, one day,,she sent me two emails..both exactly the same except for the names on themm,,i replyed that, "what she intended was fine, with me, but , she , should ask Eric if, it was ok with him. never heard from her again....how strange...

cdw, it sounds like you already know it wasn't right, go with that feeling. My gut instincts are pretty much always right on the money. Trust yourself on this, it really doesn't sound like he deserves your trust.
If he's trying to place blame on you, he's obviously guilty of some kind of wrongdoing.

Really on this one you need to disconnect the heart. He a playin' and players depend on the heart of the victi... Ummm... Woman.
Think about everything you just said. Heck go back and reread everything you wrote here as if someone else wrote it and you are reading it for the first time.
Now sit and think on it. Listen to your head. Listen to your gut. You know that gut. The one that sank when you found this. Because your gut knew the truth.
