I love riddles and thought i would take a few of the ones I've picked up here and there and post them here from time to time. If anyone would like the post a few of there own that would be great.
Until I am measured, I am not known,
Yet how you miss me when I have flown.
What am I?

Right on, Kenny!
Wow a gold star, Metu ?
that's cool!
Oedipus solved the riddle of the Sphinx and was rewarded by the citizens of Thebes by being made the king. Basically marrying the queen (Joasta), which was his mother. Oedipus had previously killed (Laius) the King of Thebes not knowing that this was his father. O its a tangled up riddle
and too the 'who'? of the riddle
I'd have to say it would be something like
charity or donation
hmmm...its a tough one
