OMG........had yesterday off. Went into work today...
Gas is up to $4.05.

Guess it's time to dust off the bike. Anyone know where I can
get a basket and some pretty pink streamers? Maybe a horn?
I already got the cards and the clothespins for my spokes.

I'm sure to pick up a man that way....whatcha think?

$3.85 out here. I've been limiting my driving and thinking about a bike too. Except I'm going to get a two seater so I can go on dates.

u all need to invest in motor scooters and tobaco that is not rolled into cigerettes,so u can pay for your gas.ive noticed an awfull lot of them going by my front porch lately.people r crazy tradind their cars for new ones.even at 40 miles per gallon they have a new payment as well.a 350 corvette makes 28 miles per gallon.that would only give u 12 miles more.add it up its not that much.and those little cars r a pain if u drive very far.i think we have givin up enough in the cars we drive.if u got a family they r to small.most of the people i no that live in small towns r moving closer to there jobs.so they dont have to rely on a car.i like the green theory but we got to have oil from our own soil.the bleeding hearts r gonna have to give in this time.or little johnny and jane r going to have to walk to school again for everything.its just that friggin simple.

About a year ago I moved into the town that I work, and work is just down the block, the kids ride their bike to school, and I have to drive 5 minutes across town to the sitters for the young one. I thought about this all over a year ago when gas prices at that time were high. Now I am glad that i did. I have saved a ton of money by making this move. And right now gas prices are at 3.99 a gallon. And a bike with a baby seat on the back may not be a bad investment at this point.

electric and hydrogen cars are not fully developed and would cost a crap load to get one, but i have heard that if you were to use propane (or was it something else) it would give you double the mileage with a little less power. The drawbacks is that it might hurt your engine in the long run, but i dont know this is what i heard.

we used propane in a large fleet of trucks for years.but u have the tank to worry about and the conversion is over a thousand dollars.and the true fact is i like my internal combustion engine even at 4.20 a gallon. a harley just wouldnt be a harley anymore.nor a mustang or corvette with out the rumble.im sure their days r numbered but i was hoping it would be after i was gone.
