Short and sweet works for me. I don't like to read essays.

Fairly short - more than just Hi there, but not an essay. I never know how to respond to winks.

I don't think this topic "says it all" at all? it's freaking not well written nor easily understood...
What the heck does it mean "do you want a sweet"?
Ug!
Too much trouble deciphering your topic...please, do not e-mail....till more readily understand and can apply the written word.

Short and sweet but more than a "hi, wanna chat?"
My favorite emails mention something they have actually read in my profile and are interested in.

I would like either. If I want to get to know the person, I would not mind listening to all they have to say. But if it is someone that I really have little interest in, then short and sweet would be on the menu.

Most of the emails I have gotten have been rather short.
But I have been exchanging with a nice lady for a little
while now and she writes very well written, long letters.
I personally think the long emails give much more insight
and information as to who this person is. I like them!
But if the short ones are sweet, that's cool too.
