why say something that you do not mean if you love some one you tell some men say they love you becouse that is what you want to hear i say i love you becouse that is what i feel but to love some one you must love your self first that is why some men dont say it to the women they are with becouse the dont love thereself

I cant imagine anyone in a relationship NOT wanting to hear the words "I Love You", or NOT saying them to the one you love...Yes, we may show it in many ways, but there is nothing more moving than sharing those magical words...

I was in a LTR for 10 years
and the guy I was with never ever said I love you 1st.
What's up with that? Even though he always swore he loved me, he never ever said it 1st.

Yes,if he loves you he should tell you he does.I always told my ex-wife I loved her on a daily basis with the exception of the last two years of marriage to her.It just hurt me too much to say it and not hear it in return.I have never told a girl I love her to get her into bed that is despicable.I have known a lot of fellas that would though.Personally,I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I was that kind of person.

I'm the true optimist or just hoping. I've told him and I won't say what he told me, lets just say I'm not giving up on hope or love. Some guys can't say the words. I'd rather have the actions that show it if they can't say it. I also don't want to just hear it as an auto response. Mean it damn it or don't say it!
I've only told 3 men (not relatives) that I love them. One has been dead for 23 years, one I have no idea where he is but he still comes to mind but that's it and the third one is unsure.
I had one tell me when I almost miscarried my baby. Yeah, his ass took off and got married a few months later to some other woman. I'd rather he not said it at all.
Say it if you mean it and can, if not show me.

A long time ago I read that women love with their ears and men love with their eyes. Meaning, women like to hear that they are loved, whereas men like to see the love by how their women treat them. 
It is true that many people (and both genders are guilty of that) say "I love you" without really meaning it. Everyone likes to hear those words, so the other person would say it just to make their partner happy (at least for that moment).
Personally, I would rather have a man who shows me in his actions that I am loved, instead of constantly hearing "I love you"...JMO
