For as long as I can remember, I've had many strange occurrences in my life. From seeing and speaking to the dead, visions in the form of dreams, even the horror of a demonic presence. Needless to say I've had my head checked and re-examined many a times, because of this phenomenon. My grand-mother and aunt who were present at my birth, always spoke of this "veil" that I was born with. When I probed for further information. Granny explained to me, that there was this layer of skin over my face that had to be cut away. My grand-father she says, being superstituous immediately took the skin and left with it. I never paid much attention to this story, as it never truly made any sense to me. Ok so I was born with some extra yuck on my face...but aren't all babies? I'm a Christian by faith, and after speaking with my Pastor, whom dismissed it as another superstition not to be entertained, I decided to seek out other opinions and means desperately trying to identify the truth of the matter. From astrology charts to witch doctors. I'm still baffled. Are there any other caulbearers out there, and if so how has it affected your life?
