This is the most dynamic testimony a believer can ever give. We either believe God's testimony to man or we don't. We cannot pick and choose what we will believe; either all the Bible is true or none of it is. Carroll's song says he believes it all and he is placing his trust in God's promise. Carroll believes our sins were nailed to that old rugged cross upon which Jesus died in our place and that it is his blood which covers the sins of the world.
