Welcome to the site, I am a new member myself.
I saw where you like to cook, so I am going to share one my favorite recipes with you.
For your next party, you should make this and sit back and watch as it disappears and everyone makes great comments about your skills in the kitchen.
(For best results, make the night before and warm up when ready to have your friends over - this allows the flavors to mingle even more!!!)
Recipe for spinach dip
1/2 stick butter
4 cloves garlic (pressed)
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
5 oz shredded romano cheese
10 oz box chopped frozen spinach
2 artichoke hearts (canned)
1/2 cup shredded monterrey jack cheese
chives
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add garlic and fry until bits are slightly golden. Add cream and romano cheese. Wait for cheese to melt and simmer. Add spinach and chopped artichoke hearts. Salt to taste. Pour into serving dish and sprinkle mont jack cheese on top. Cheese will melt nicely on top. Add chives on top as garnish. Wait 10-15min to cool. Enjoy.
