I love life and want to have someone to enjoy it with. I have a great sense of humor, I love to kid around, and am a sucker for someone that makes me think and laugh, with interesting stories to tell. I don’t mind hearing them more than once, and I might just tell a few of my own.
I am slow to anger, quick to forgive, and try to leave any battles for the things that really matter. I don’t play head games, but I don’t read minds, either. Honesty in communication is the key. An honest, forthright, passionate woman, I love just about everything to do with the outdoors (except yellow-jackets and the [expletive deleted] kamikaze stinging things- I’ve had my fill of both this year  ). My thrill-seeking is tempered by the dubious wisdom of age, but I still try to do as much as I can. I love to explore and travel, go whitewater rafting as often as I can, and am learning to roll a kayak. I like do just about everything associated with the water - fishing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, canoing, kayaking, diving. I love to hike - but I am still a beginner - don't expect me to do strenuous sections of the AT just yet. I am a pretty good cook over a campfire or on a grill, as well as in the kitchen. I love the beach and the mountains and spend as much time as I can in either place. I prefer to be on the move, active, and enjoying everything life has to offer, and can be content to sit quietly and watch TV or a sunset. I enjoy getting my hands dirty on a car or a garden, or clearing trees off the property. UT or pro football and Nascar is fine with me.
I am looking for a man has a sense of humor and a sense of adventure. He should be willing to be a friend, first and foremost. Any relationship worth having is worth taking the time to get it right. I want someone that loves to touch and be touched, hold hands, be spontaneous, be intimate. If you can cook, great, just let me take a turn now and then. I prefer that you don't smoke, at least not around me. And you must love animals, particularly dogs…
