The best way to let me know that you've taken the time to read my profile, instead of just looking at the pictures is to call me by name(read on.....). I guess you could say I’m happiest either playing my saxophones or riding one of my motorcycles. Both just seem to set my spirit free…whether on the stage or the open road. I’m a confident man, warm and loyal. I’m also creative in what I do. I have a very playful nature and am passionate about my life and the people in it. I’m searching for that balance and blend between partner, lover and friend... all are important. However, trust and chemistry are the fuels which make the love, fire, and respect grow. The fire does not blaze right away, but burns hottest when built slowly and fueled correctly. I'm quite tactile... I love to cuddle and kiss my special lady(in public where appropriate and at home any time).
***** UPDATE*****
On July 14, 2008, I had my a** kicked when my aorta tore apart at the seams after fixing my friend's motorcycle, causing a hellacious stroke which took out almost all of the right hemisphere of my brain, plopping me in the hospital for two months.Wouldn't you know it, the one time I get to fly in a helicopter, I have to be unconscious. (dammit!)  While I was there, my wonderful friends from DH kept me going with cards, jokes and phone calls.
Though I still don't have the use of my left hand back yet, I continue to work out at the gym several times a week. I can't drive yet, so when I go
out, I must rely on someone else to do the driving(for now). I'm working hard every day and will soon emerge stronger than I have ever been in my life for dealing with this, there is no doubt in my mind. thank you to my wonderful friends... you're the greatest. I love you and owe my life to you!
*** SECOND UPDATE (Nov. 2009)***
I'm in physical and occupational therapy three days a week, and improving steadily... SLOWLY, but steadily. My name is Jeff and my cane now spends its days standing in the corner by my chair all by itself waiting for the next opportunity to be used to reach the light switch while I am in my recliner. I guess I'm still using my cane after all, huh?  I still must practice my driving and be tested by DPS before I can drive on a date, but If you will drive, I'm sure you will find it a charming experience. Local dating with my eyes open to a long term relationship, is still the goal; however, I seem to have developed some terrific friendships across the country, and that's a blessing as well. That LTR may just turn out to be with a friend who is 200 miles away today, but living here next month(in other words, I never know where I will find my perfect match, but I believe she's out there, and I believe that distance can be overcome... who says your love must be found in your own zip code?)... I don't set limits on the grand plan.
This question has arisen a couple of times, so I thought I'd address it here... no, I'm not still in the hospital, but live in a house in Temple. My parents also live with me to help me (yeah, I know...)  I've lived on my own since I was 18, so having the parents around again is a bit of a challenge for everyone.
