I'm currently on an adventure, I'm saving money to move to Canada (probably will be taking a greyhound bus in 2008) and start a new life in Edmonton (Alberta).
I've meet many interesting people lately, from homeless people to convicts and building contractors all trying to make a living and juggling their personal problems while making a living.
I believe in god, and i speak to him every day whenever i am (he is everywhere so i never see a need to go to a temple or church to talk to the almighty).
I'm a free spirit, despite my appearance and many people's assumption of me as being a latino...I don't do drugs, I don't smoke and I don't get drunk, and i'm a pacifist (but if i can't talk my way out of a difficult situation i'm good bluffing, i guess because i play poker online a bit, heh).
I'm very open minded, i don't care if you're rich or poor, if you have kids or not, but i do like my friends to be in decent shape physically and be mature.
I did all my partying in my 20's, all that is out of me. I like to relax, listen to the silence of the night, i love to see sunsets and dawns, and much more.
Not sure what else to say, besides that i'm looking for a friend first, if that works out then maybe a lover.
If i find someone interesting i would probably consider postponing my trip to Canada.
Since i got a few notes asking what i'm looking for, i think i should add it here.
What i'm looking in a woman:
Age 18-35, almost any race (not black), with or without kids but willing to have at least one kid with me. My personal choice is petite but if she is attractive, funny, open minded and has a nice smile i probably wouldn't mind a different body type. Non smoker (was married to a smoker and it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life among other things about her), i would accept if she drank socially but NOT if she was a party girl, i don't like that scene since my 20's.
She must have faith in god, in other word religious but not necessarily strict to her particular religion since in my eyes god is everywhere and therefore there isn't a place on earth you can't pray or talk to the lord.
Definitely no drugs, unless they are prescribed for medical reasons (i understand people need meds under certain circumstances).
I don't care if she is rich or poor, but honestly i don't want to be with a bimbo, i want someone i can have an intelligent conversation with. You don't need to be a genius, but if you can't spell the word history... save some time and don't message me.
Also, she must like romance, as in walking under the moonlight, candlelight dinner (which i would cook), appreciate that even tho i'm not a chef i will do my best to make something for her. A woman who will understand that you can't be with me every single minute of the day, because even in the strongest love... you need your personal space.
What else...ah yeah, know that I love a woman with or without makeup, but there are times when a man does like to see lipstick and heels on his woman (let's be real here).
Many times in my life i put work ahead of relationships, and that is still a problem sometimes when i have to choose between making more money (which end up in my partner's purse) or stay at home and be with a loving partner. I believe i would consult with her about it before making a choice, but i do need a woman to understand that to me work is important.
The sexual part about her, well... I would only discuss that with her when she is ready to talk about it.
