My name says it all. Everytime I hear Martina McBrides's "Blessed", I think to myself, "That's me!".
I've been here and on other dating sites and I see so many unhappy people. Sometimes they get mean, from being lonely and sad. That's not the way it has to be! Unless it's beyond their control because of sickness or a disabling condition.
I'm here to say that some single people are happy. Some over 60 are happy. Some of us are healthy and active.
I'm looking for new friends from my area. No make believe cyber friends! I live very much in the real world and I'm looking for real world friends. I have a wonderful life, but as we become older, friends sometimes get fewer, or are no longer into living life and having fun. For various reasons. So, if you are a man or woman, living in or near my area; If you have an upbeat attitude; If you are active and looking for new friends, I'd love to hear from you. No gloomy Gusses!! I'm dating someone now, but not exclusively, so I am open for dating. I prefer to date men who are healthy and reasonably fit, non-smokers only, so they can keep up with me. I'm out and about and doing activities that require a reasonable amount of energy. So, a couch potato would not be compatible with me.
Marriage is not an option. I love being single. But if, while dating, I find one who is special enough for a LTR, that is a possibility. I just enjoy life each and everyday, dating or not, in a relationship, or not. Life is good!
I have a great family. I volunteer on a regular basis. I like outdoor festivals, concerts, parades, state fair, casinos, museums, and just hanging out with fun people.  NO sports!!
