i'm a very friendly, yet kind of private person at first, but open up very easily when i feel comfortable. i've got a few issues that i'm working on(no, NOT DRAMA either)...i've lived with my parents since May of 2008, when my employer decided to relocate elsewhere, and as with a lot of other people, i've had a difficult time in getting a job that just doesn't want to use you up and then get rid of you...i'm somewhat a homebody, but that's because of my doing as well (loss of license, but i'm going through the proper steps in trying to have it reinstated)...Being sober since may 14, 2008 has been a blessing and i live my life in a different manner than i did when i was out/about and getting into all sorts of trouble...I still like to have a good time, but i've been able to find the way to do so without alcohol being involved
i'm looking for friends first, because they have to realize that, at the present time, i can't just jump into anything unless she was willing to understand my circumstances, but overall, i believe i have a lot to offer, whether it be friendship or a relationship
and 2 assumptions you may have that would be incorrect
1) just because i don't have a driver's license or car, that doesn't mean that i'm not able to get somewhere when i need to
2) i'm not penniless either, after working for close to 18 years at the company where i was employed, i managed to set aside a few dollars here and there

TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
