This is for all you great guys out there ! Might there be one for me ??
When I stated that my intent is dating but nothing serious my question is: How can something be serious when one haven't even met yet ? no something have to start somewhere.
I was born and grew up in Denmark, Scandinavia, and have been blessed with many adventures in my life, posing in art studios, riding the "Marrakesh Express" sailed for years on my 45 foot ketch, this just to name a few. One of my plans for the future is to hike the mountains out West , I can picture a cabin with a fireplace. Jump out of airplanes more often and explore the Globe.
My heart is a virtual hotel (5 stars of course) with room for everyone, NOW ! this is not to say that someone can not be downgraded to the broom closet OR upgraded to the Presidential suite (room service ??....hm ? - depends)
I dislike Malls and only go when I have to, it is much more fun to shop for the house and garden. Dining in a fine restaurant IS something I enjoy from time to time but am for the most part happy to stay home.
I have lots of love to give but will only lavish it on someone who wants to give as much as he takes.
Now! My intention is not to get "rescued", I manage myself OK, however modestly, or married - not for a very long long time anyway, I can see that as putting a nose around someones neck, no, he should some to me because this is where he wants to be. "He" IS sadly missed though! one to explore things with, laugh and tease with, cook with, watch movies with, garden with, cuddle with, kiss with - sleep with - hm.... have lots of love with - blush ! In other words a friend, confidant and lover. And no! we would not have to be joined at the hip all the time - so to speak - I prefer someone who can stay busy on his own as well as with me, I have always had a lot of time on my own and still need time to myself.
My independence is precious to me and I love my little home, I enjoy having friends around my dining room table, what better time can one have ?. just one thing is missing tho: the ONE at the other end of the table !
One thing I would like to mention though is that I am really not the biker type, too many friends and family members have suffered from bad accidents, whether it is the cars or bikers fault does not matter, to me being on a bike makes one far too vulnerable, no disrespect intended whatsoever to anybody.
I also need to say that I am spiritual and know to count my blessings, of which I have many, every day.
You might also find it interesting to know that I have extensive experience in hand to hand combat, thankfully I have not had to put it to use, yet that is.
