(As a brief introductory aside, even if you've no personal interest in me, I hope you'll consider the solicitation I make at the end of my profile. Now, about me...)
I'm a down-to-earth, Christian/LDS guy seeking a woman with whom I might form a genuine friendship that would naturally lead to an awesome, loving relationship. While I welcome friendships, I ultimately seek a partner for life, and I don't believe that life ends at death. 
I'm confident that the following particular combination of traits (in no particular order) makes me unique among men:
• I'm active in my faith, involved with my church, and grateful for Jesus Christ.
• I pursue my work diligently, ambitiously, and creatively, and determined worker who tries to initiate stuff.
• I enjoy serving others.
• I enjoy being physically active. (e.g. walking, jogging, hiking, biking)
• I'd welcome having children (after marriage).
• I enjoy learning and doing things that cause me to think deeply.
• I'm conservative by nearly every sense of the word.
• I rarely watch TV, but I enjoy movies or stories about love, redemption, and sacrifice.
• I enjoy baking, and I LOVE the smell and taste of homemade bread -- especially cinnamon rolls!
• My favorite foods are all plant based. (I don't crave meat much, but I do like eggs and cheese.)
• I love spicy/piquant food!
• I enjoy singing (and other musical pursuits).
• I enjoy my job as a software engineer. It suits my analytical, curious, and creative nature.
• Cleanliness, organization, and order are important to me.
• I'm not very interested in guns, hunting, fishing, professional sports, or the latest fads/fashions.
• I find plants as equally fascinating as animals. I like to garden and grow things.
• I enjoy understated activities, simple pleasures, and the "little things" in life.
• I'm intellectually very curious.
• I'm fascinated by artifacts from the past and the stories that accompany them.
• I'm very warm-natured, so I love cool/cold weather. (And it's a good excuse to cuddle.)
• I'm introverted by nature, but I enjoy the company of people.
• I tend to be a homebody, but I don't always like to stay home.
• I find a minimalistic lifestyle appealing.
• I'm very visually-oriented. My best and favorite work professionally has been creating data visualizations. I love variegated sunrises or sunsets, the color orange, fractal images, and the visual contrast between light and shadows. Photography is phun!
• I'm sure my exact musical tastes (i.e. including religious, classical, and electronic to name only a few) are unique ONLY to me!
I'm definitely more introverted than extroverted, so I'd much prefer a few strong friendships to many superficial ones. I've been told I'm quiet and intense; I think there's truth to both. Though I'm not the most talkative or sociable person, I am happiest when I'm doing things with others, whether work or play. (e.g. anything listed above) Good company makes any activity enjoyable!
I admire and am attracted to women who are humble, grateful, and unflinchingly kind and compassionate. Spiritual, intellectual, and physical compatibility (in that order) are very important to me.
I don't pretend to know what type of woman would gravitate towards me. ...except that surely she will have found my forces of attraction too hard to resist. (cheesy -- I know)

Do you have strong feelings or opinions about using online dating websites? If so, I'd love to hear from you. I'm trying to do research to better understand what works and doesn't work for users of websites like this.
• What kind of people are you looking for? How easy is it to find people like that?
• What is most exciting & encouraging for you?
• What is most frustrating & annoying to you?
• How are your interactions with people online different from people you meet in person? Why?
• What could be done differently to facilitate the process of getting to know someone you met online? (i.e. to make it simpler, more time efficient, less risky, etc.)
