I'm new to the city and looking to meet people . I have family here and co-workers but finding others to hang out with is another story.
As far as dating - I'm not sure who or what I'm looking for, I guess I'll know when I know but I am only interested in single, Caucasian men (sorry guys, just my preference). I do know I'm not looking for a knight in shining armour to rescue me - I don't need that, I'm good. I'm equally not looking to save/fix anyone. I am independent, confident and secure with myself. Please be happy with where you are in life too. I love kids but I've raised mine and helped raise many in my family I don't want anymore -but its ok if you have them. I think physical attraction is important - there has to be something there on both sides or it's just not going to work. I think communication is important as well as mutual respect. My pictures are recent – Sept 2012 and January 2013 – hopefully yours are too. I’ve met guys who’s pictures are at least 10 – 15 years old. I’m sure there are women on dating sites who do the same thing. I have a few tattoos – I like them and might want one or two more. I’ve had piercings that had to be removed for surgery and who knows – I might do it again.
I am pretty laid back and low key. Life is good, I have a job that I love, a 22yr old son I adore (he lives back east) and an awesome - very big - family. I'm happy for the most part with where I am in life. There are a few things I want for myself and I'll make those happen in time. I would like to lose weight and I'm working on it - but I do not have a problem with me. I work all week but my weekends are for the most part free.
As I said, I have a large family both blood related and people I chose to be family of all religions, races and sexual orientations - if you have a problem with that then I'm not your girl - I love my family and wouldn't tolerate anyone who wasn't cool with that. I am not a girlie girl either - I only wear dresses if I have to. I don't mind getting my hands dirty.
I have eclectic taste in music and movies – doesn’t matter what genre – if I like it – I like it. I do not, however like rap – older stuff is cool – but the newer stuff – not so much. I read a lot of books too.
