Been self-employed in accounting systems for 32+ years but the BEST thing I did late last year was purchase a fairly old (ca. 1895) house in Lewisburg's historic district that was a dump (really). Gutted it & have done about 90% of the work including design, wiring, sheet rock, plumbing, flooring, carpentry, etc. It's looking good inside; the outside's not great, but that's for Spring & Summer of '08. My friends have commented they haven't seen me in anything but jeans for ten months. Clean up good even though photo (taken 11/07) is dorky.
NOT interested in the cliches of strolls on the beach or walks in the woods, although I've done both. Lived in Europe 9 years. Speak German. Enjoy Friday's WSJ crossword puzzle.
