Lately I've found myself dating and attracting ladies who are great on paper-- meaning my mother would love them, they've got the fantastic career, they're open minded and totally fun, and they have a good family life..... In fact, their lives are so complete that they have little time to fit in someone like me. Yes, I'm put together too. Full of life, spirit, direction and energy. I tumble out of bed early in the morning and often find myself crawling in late in the evening exhausted and fulfilled, but unable to recall all the places I've been, things I've done, or people with whom I've crossed paths.
Like most Virginia natives, I have a deep love for the beach, our wonderful country side and of course the mountains as well. I love being the strong shoulder, big embrace, hand holding, and kissing just because kind of guy for the special female in my life. I hope to find her soon, because being the father of a 16 year old daughter without a woman’s input is challenging to say the least. I am in my early forties, and I'm relieved that I've gotten to a place where I like who I am and where I'm at-- There's a great power in knowing that I've lived my life to the fullest, not settling before my time.
So, here I am on this website, I suppose, to find a person who can be a witness to my life. And a woman whose life I can witness as well. I'm looking for someone confident and sexy, a woman with a true sense of adventure who has the appetite to see the world and experience as much as possible. I'm looking for a friend who's got a sense of humor that makes me cry for mercy; a heart developed but open enough to include me in its realm, a brain so fast-moving that it constantly thirsts for new things to challenge it. She should like dogs, be as comfortable in sweats as in a dress and pearls, love to cuddle………. kissing is an absolute must. She hopefully will enjoy the sound of rain on a chilly fall day, the first snow in winter, warm days when the sky goes on forever and sultry, hot days of summer at the beach.
I am well read…..at least in my opinion. I also love movies of all types-not just shoot ‘em up, blow ‘em up kinds! I find that books rarely translate to great movies with very few exceptions. An evening spent talking endlessly about nothing and everything at the same time has special appeal to me. Your smile and eyes will reveal more to me than any e-mail.
