• A well-travelled hopeless romantic.
• While not a book-worm, have a well-rounded library; while not an audiophile, have an expansive collection of music of most gendres perculating in the iPod.
• Sharing a well-equipped, well-stocked kitchen with a like-minded companion then pairing fine dinners or picnic baskets (or saddlebag lunches) with the right wine combinations high on my list of interests.
• Just as happy in jeans, cowboy boots and a Stetson or a pair of comfy cords, bare feet in old Guccis topped with a scarf and rainy-day Beret ready for our visit to the bistro. (Alright, shorts and deck shoes o.k. if our West Coast weather co-operates).
• Love the look of a smiling, sparkling-eyed, classy lady in a long Ralph Lauren skirt and boots paired with a beautiful linen blouse (enough buttons open to get the imagination stirring), or a navy blazer and khaki Bermudas. It's about a special woman's attitude; not about walking with a wiggle... but with a saucy toss of her head, striding out with purposeful confidence. Even a bit mysterious.
• Am into sharing lazy Sunday morning brunches in front of the fireplace, windblown raindrops pounding the windows, weekend newspapers spread on the dining room table, soft jazz filling in the background. All a complement to stimulating intellectual repartee.
• Activities have included a whole lot of tennis, sea kayaking, horseback riding, downhill skiing, wilderness and expedition camping... now most pursued in moderation with periodical bike rides and seawall jaunts added for good measure. Finding someone with like interests would be terrific... and maybe the occasional camp-out at the Pan Pacific could be organized.
• If you're looking for someone retired, forget it: with what I'm up to and where I'm headed it's just not in the cards.
• Am a sometimes actor (film, commercials), motivational speaker and published author of a few business books (sorry, not rocket science) and would like to get a couple more to the publishers now that I've got the computer to do the hard work.
• Hope to meet a spontaneous, independent, happy-with-herself, romantically-inclined, sensuous woman who approaches her lovemaking with some creativity. Who subscribes to the concept that foreplay and afterplay are most important elements of "the play".
