Another Saturday Night by nobs4u at 7/27/2015 8:19:32 PM My son is 16,his mom wont let him get his drivers license so we go to "roads less traveled" and I let him drive sometimes. We were out at 130 am this Sat and returned home to get the lawn chairs,the layout kind. We went to a big field,on a hilltop, surrounded by woods and lay there looking at the stars and the Milky Way until 4 am. We counted 15 "shooting stars". We talked of many things and bonded like I never had with my own father,he had different ways. We spoke of God,demons,nature and the laws of gravity/physics. We talked of his ambitions and what he wants to do after HS. We talked and I even listened to him,because most young folk just want to be heard. One of the BEST Saturdays I have spent in my life...what a great kid!

nobs4u	7/28/2015 5:07:42 AM Hi Yets! Thank you but, Oh,gosh no,I am but a miserable failure, but I am TRYING my best and I love that kid as well as my daughter and grandson and grandson to be. I cannot wait to take the grandkids fishing and stargazing! My son IS a great kid,he always sticks up for the weaker kids at school and no-one messes with him.He is tall and strong ,as drummers tend to be very strong from carrying drums while marching and he takes his aggression out on the drumsets he has...which he bought with his OWN money we earned two years ago helping a lady in need...She told the probate judge she prayed for some Angels to help her and he and I were two of the four who showed up...I told her we aint no Angels,fer SURE!

nobs4u	7/29/2015 12:57:16 PM I thank you all,very much. I had to go to the doc today,so I called my son to see if he wants to go to the main library here in town with me. He said he has never been there! he has been to the branch,just not the main one! DAMMIT! I have been slipping! Picking him up in an hour!

nobs4u	7/29/2015 8:53:03 PM Thanks MrBill,(OOOHHH,NOOOO,it's SLUGGO!'70's Sat Night Live reference for the young'uns to look up!)...in all actuality I found that when watching my kids being born...truly an amazing ,miraculous thing...that first breath of life after 9 months of fear and wondering!
