Mine? Bengals
My cat was dumped as a kitten. He was on an isolated stretch of road and it was cold and icy. He was around 6 weeks old, and zig zagging back and forth in the middle of the road. It was nighttime, so couldn't tell his coloring till I got him home. He is a tabby, but the vet says he has Bengal in his background. His striping is caramel and cream (he has the darker "points". He has a distinctive voice and even meows when he has caught something. He catches birds, chipmunks, pocket gophers, and rabbits (even grown ones).
Very family oriented cat, does not like strangers (hides when anyone new comes around). His coloring makes him blend into the background (against wood, leaves and even plowed fields), where you can't see him.
If his behavior is typical of Bengals, then that's the only breed of cat I'd ever want from now on.

I am allergic also, and not usually a cat person, but this cat is special! Due to my allergies, he is mostly outside, but comes in for treats regularly!
I like Scottish Folds C:. They're so unique and cute.
I like the Folds, too. Such round faces, round eyes and folded ears. I love them.

When I said SEVERE allergies to cats ... I meant SEVERE ... life-threatening, not some pissy little sneezing, coughing, eye-watering, allergy that can be controlled with medications. I am talking about allergies so bad that hospitalization to control the allergic reaction is necessary.
ERGO ~~~ I despise environments where cats are permitted to reside in the same domicile as humans (especially if one ever invites a truly allergic person into that environment).
...and don't try to suggest a Hairless would be alright ... because they still have dander.
Yes! For me ~~ my favorite cat ... is a dead one! And that is NOT me being mean ... but being realistic. tyvm

I absolutly love black cats. My last cat that i owned was a fluffy black cat that i named Tommy after my cousin. My cat had 5 toes on both front paws and was the nicest cat i have ever had. I miss him soo much R.I.P i dont know what i would have done if i would have became allergic to cats before he died

trina- the post you responded to shows that person's maturity. That's why I just went on.
I too am very allergic (not able to breathe, and develop a rash, etc) when in close contact, but it doesn't stop me from admiring a cat's beauty. I love our cat. Didn't intend to get one, but allergies or no, I couldn't leave a tiny kitten that was thrown out in the middle of nowhere, in the cold, snow and ice, defenseless. He is by far the most beautiful cat- striking in color, and with beautiful classic tabby patterning.

Geez, my niece has a severe peanut allergy, she simply avoids peanuts. She's seven and she figured it out.
My nephew has severe allergies to cats, too but he still loves them.
Personally, I have never heard of anyone dying from an allergy to an animals' dander.
I recieved injections as a child and outgrew my allergies.
My favorite cat, white angels! Every white cat I have had, I have developed a very special bond with. They made amazing service and support animals for me.

The only time my cat ever poopped on the floor, was when I had another cat share her litter box with her. If the other cat pooped in the pan and I wasn't home, she wouldn't use the pan. I ended up getting another pan and the problem was solved.
I would talk with your vet to see if they have any advice on what to do or if they think your cat has an underlying health issues. It could be noise or location of the litter box.

Got two strays and a savanah f2 they get along cool with my xxl pitbulls . The savanah is cool but i had to build an enclosure cause she wont sh#t in a litter box and likes to spray everywhere the other cats have been still the best cat and only one ive ever paid for

My last cat (dead I think if not havn't seen him for a couple months) was almost 30 pounds and beagle sized. He was 13, and I think he had kitty cancer or maybe diabetes. Whatever it was he lost 2/3s of his weight. The vet thought he was mixed with something maybe cause of his size, idk. Big cat.
I usuusally keep mixed cats, which are mostly american shorthairs, all black and except for the last one, female. They usually stay about 5-8 pounds, nobody had any idea Tarzan would get as large as he did. Got him at my stepmothers funeral, think he got dropped off but at that point he'd fit in your hand.
I like Maine Coon Cats and Norweigians too, but don't think I'd want a big cat again even though the majority of them would never get to the size of what I had.

British Shorthair, I have one and she's the best in my opinion. I got her from a friend who could no longer take care of her. She's the best thing to come into my life, after I lost my old cat, which was a Siamese/Mau mix and I still love her dearly. I love both cats.

Magnificent creatures indeed.I cherished my cub,Sissy.Alas she was sold from under me since I was a child at the time and she did break my arm in play.Just because an animal is beautiful and even affectionate,does not mean it belongs in captivity.Big cats along with many wild and exotic animals have very specific needs of which can be quite difficult and very expensive to procure and provide.Often the one of the greatest needs are the most ignored or forgotten,such as exersize and enrichments for MIND as well as body.Cats of all kind are hard wired to hunt and kill.This behavior is instictual and can not be trained out of them.

hard question i hav 3 cats one black-white her name is Alley Kat, one fluffy grey with green eye -Mojo Kitty, and Tigger-Claws, a rescue-Fereal cat who could not be re-released due to fact he is blind in left eye. I think he is a main coon, he just keeps growing and growing just turned 2 but still growing! And then there was Peter-Wolf, he was russion-blue with siamease (my spelling sucks ugh) I love all cats...

Mine is not that big but a little extra long. Had trouble with it using the litter box till I got one a few inches longer and seems to be working out with it. Still have it on a diet because of the long hair.

Same. My two babies are from a humane society shelter in NC. Ace is beautiful and fluffy and pretty sure he's a maine coon but the shelter didn't say for sure. He's very relaxed though compared to other cats. My other baby boy is Snickers (his shelter name was Ruben but he didn't seem like a Ruben to my bf and I)and he is a Siamese/Snowshoe mix. A beautiful boy. He got separated from his mom before he could be taught not to suckle any more. So even though he eats solid food and drinks water he will try to nurse on little fingers and toes and ears. I think he just does it for comfort because he will just sit there and nod off lol. He's pretty relaxed too.
