Where we as African American Women think that 180 pounds is sexy and a white women would think it is fat. No one wants a bone but a dog and he doesn't want it unless it has meat on it. Race should not be a factor but I can say from experience it often causes problems in a relationship.

I mean, that's like asking wouldn't most Caucasians automatically be pale. African Americans come in often noticeble different colors. From the color of singer Alicia Keys and lighter to the color of Whoopi Goldberg and darker. The poster who started this thread is simply wondering why she doesn't see more Caucasian men with light-skinned black women instead of dark-skinned black women. Both shades are pretty common, just as pale Caucasian people and tan Caucasian people are pretty common. The poster who started this thread doesn't seem to be referring to my shade, though, but rather more on the line of Whoopi Goldberg's shade. Either way, I haven't experienced what she has on this matter.
