FYI: I have a saying, There is no wrong or right individual in a relationship. Just equal rights.
I like that one... another way of finding a gamer girl is to "craft one" it starts out like this, try playing some board games or card games with her and as she has more fun with those introduce her to a video game with similar concepts or the video game version of the board or card game. start out simple, dont try to impress her with your gaming knowledge and prowess or she will probably think its a "guy thing" and feel over whelmed.
the trick is to feel her out (with your mind) and introduce her to a simple, easy to pick up game thats related to a game she already enjoys... chances are she likes sponge bob or hello kitty or something "cute" like that. I am not saying that the only way to make her a gamer gal is to get her into stuff that your not into, just as the intro to the video game world let her have a game she is already familiar with the character world or concept. then eventually she will get board with the cutesy games and is ready for something more challenging.
now that she sees the value of fun in the video gamer's world she "gets it" and will probably start watching you play your games out of curiosity. if not its now time to explore other games that you can both find common ground of interests and level of fun.
remember, its not about getting a gamer gal to be into the same games your into, its about having some one who loves you that UNDERSTANDS your hobby/obsession and to have some one to share in gaming... even if its not your primary game.

I'm a gamer as well, xbox 360 games. Mostly RPGs such as: Fallout new vegas, skyrim, oblivion, dead space 1 and 2, bioshock 1-2, L4D 2, Fable 2-3. I can go on, I really want Dead Space 3. And don't get me started on when Bioshock Infinite gets out. Lets put an ad about this great game 3yrs before it gets out. Arg, why torture us so?

Not all gamers r like that. I've been playing comsole games since 1985. And for the past 5 yrs I've been playing world of warcraft and I actually go outside and so things outside of gaming. And I've never lost a relationship over games

Iv yet to meet a girl who wont game w/ me. They claim they wont, they always do. Like one man said earlier the trick is to craft one. The real question here is there any girls w/ hand eye coordination ;p

The way i got my ex into games was I would only play the games that where fun to watch like Uncharted. She would'nt allow me to play it unless she was there to see what happens. She starts asking me what games she can play so i bought does stupid a** mystery search computer games then she started playing skyrim. For all the wrong reasons of course only thing she was worried about in the game was buying a house in a town and getting married e__e

You know, I sometimes wonder why there are so few gamer girls. I do know that a lot of the girls I know that don't play think its a guy thing. >_>
I'd love to be with a guy who loved playing games(or getting his a** kicked by me  )as much as I do. If he didn't that's fine, but its a definite plus.

Gaming is getting a lot more popular and you'll find more girls that game. If your not that lucky, try converting a girl into gaming. It takes patience and sometimes is frustrating but it might be eaiser than endlessly searching for one that does play and is local, and all the other things you want in a girlfriend.

You have to be careful on all that though. Yeah it's becoming more of a 'thing' for girl gamers but it's also even more of a 'thing' for idiot chicks to claim their gamers. Just be patient and if you find someone you like that isn't a gamer you can always do as the others said and slowly warm them to the idea.

Well I am a gamer and I have trouble finding my kind of gamer. Most "gamers" now-a-days only play COD. Yes it is a top selling FPS. But seriously. I'll play COD, Halo, or BF3. But you gotta be able to play League, AC, FF, KH, Tera, Borderlands, various RPGS, MMORPGS, FPS, Open-world. I'm such a major nerd/gamer and I'm specific on video games and I'm thinking every guy I ever dated was either hardcore gamer/no life and then I once dated a clueless "gamer" that only played COD. I mean I guess you just gotta keep looking and hope you'll end up lucky next time. You'll find some gamer girls but truth is most of them suck. Try playing World of Warcraft tons of "gamer" girls on their;P
