Many of the posts seem to be on the Western part of MT....thousands have moved into Eastern MT (and western ND) in the last year or so.....let's talk oil boom dating!
Oil workers are good, hard working men! There are lots of women out here who have good jobs and and are hard working and are NOT in the adult industry - how are you all meeting each other? Advice on experiences with oilfield dating???

Stay away would be my advice. Those men have girlfriend's in almost every City & State they travel through. I know I just went thru this experience !

Not true I worked in the oil field and yes we do travel a lot but we don't have time to meet ppl I got to the job site and when that job was done we were off to another job we stayed way to busy to cheat sorry bout what happen to you

I don't think a lot of the ladies on here realize that this boom is not like the one in the 80's....the guys working the rigs are hardworking, they can't be drinkin and drugging because of testing, and many have to pass background checks. They may not be in one town long...but you never know how long you'll date someone either...

i know there are a lot of oilfield workers but they are always busy working. i havent met anyone here to date where i am located in eastern montana

I have lived in north east Montana my entire life and have worked in this oilfield for the last 8 years, and I don't see that many more women around. I'm thinking I need to start going to church lol. But seriously, there has never been a surplus of women around this area.

That's not true my ex works for a company that says no drinking allowed except your ten days off. The company man operator and pusher all go to the bar every night. And females that want to date oil field men are gold diggers the females that don't know that only 1 in 10 are decent people and we know to stay away from guys on he rig and pipe line guys.. Also married oil field workers get stds from black strippers in williston. This place is disgusting

Golddiggers??? At age 19 in "healthcare" without a 4 year degree or a BSN you're gonna need to become a gold digger. Women in this age who do not obtain a university education are gold diggers - whether you are looking to marry a doctor or rancher.
Women like myself are educated, high-level workers themselves who are looking for men who work as hard and work long hours as just we do. In general, men in the energy industry fit that bill. Of course there's a few bad apples - that's true in any profession, even doctors. I moved to this area BEFORE the boom in part to be around like-minded adults who have work a work ethic. Hard working adults often don't have a lot of time to go looking for relationships, that's why we use sites like this - it cuts through a lot of the romantic crap that causes drama and leads to ex's and cuts to the chase of finding human companionship. We traded our tiaras and dance cards for hard hats and retirement accounts years ago. JMO.

Anytime there is a boom and people from every corner of the country show up to work,you will find the worst of the worst,Gold diggers scam artists,hookers and people that seem out of place.Granted there is some really good people who are there just to earn a living and support their familys.You will find people that want to be your friend that are not your friend at all.You will find people that want to hurt you and people that want to use you.At nineteen years old you haven't been around enough to see the evil that can be right around the corner.For your sake please be carful and be weary of everyone.
