I have made a lot of friends here, but as far as relationships - NOT!

I was wondering if anybody has had better luck with the "big name" charging sites???

I tried e-harmony. I met a wonderful person on there. We communicated for 5 months then made plans to meet. Before we could he was killed in an accident. I also met a couple of scammers. I guess you just have to try it and see if it works for you. I will say that the man I had planned to meet was a very good match for me.

I have tried several of the other free sites. As far as meeting anyone from any of them-NO! Most were on for hook-ups, married, or asking for nudes pics. They also had twice as many scammers. I haven't tried any of the paid sites. Not gonna pay for scammers when I can find them for free.

My cousin tried Match and eharmony, she ran into the same people on both sites. While she did find a few men that she dated, she still had the scammer issues she had with the free sites she tried. After 5 years of paying for both sites, she met a man and they married two years ago. Funny thing is they were both on free sites, as well the paid sites and they met on the free site.

Personally, if I am going to spend that amount of time on a site and have to pay for it, I'd rather stay single.

But if you found your true love would it not be worth the price? I was on one that I liked and did meet some great people, it was senior people meet. You have to be 48 and older to be on it or are suppose to be anyway. They just had a special $36 for 6 months but it ended last day of march. I had found a woman that I like very much and we went together for a little over a year but then broke up. Someone told me about this place so I came here.

bhape, the value in eHarmony is the personality analysis. If you decide to pay a monthly fee, then definitely take advantage of the analysis they offer. If I remember correctly, they ask you to answer as you would as a child in your formative years, thus they think you true personality never changes. For me, I meet more out-of-state men. Lucky for me, they were very nice, both had posibility but neither wanted to leave their home states. I just can not see living through winter months in MI, so far north that it snows in Oct.

Whatever you decide, be committed to try the bells and whistles they offer to members. Be loyal to bhape, make sure of who you are and what you need to be all you can be, with the right man at your side.

Its not the site that matters but the chemistry between the people.. I think as we get older we become more caustious.. Met alot of awesome folks on both types of sites. However still lookin for "THE ONE"... Just because you meet "THE ONE" today doesnt mean they will Be "THE ONE" tomorrow, and thats what scares me... Yes I said it, scares me...

I have made many friends on here and a couple of ladies know how I feel about them...but for whatever there reason, I guess I am just not their type. So before some people say this site don't work, remember this, it might be working for someone...but just not the one that person wants it to be....just saying...
