Well thought I would post some pics of what I do. My craft/hobby/part-time business is Native crafts.. I make one of a kind and custom dreamcatchers.. but another area I have stepped into is hair accessories, bit of jewelery, different types of bead work on pic frames, mocassins .. I make key chains also and a few other things.. here are some pics of my most recent work with hair clips. I run an Ebay store to sell these, I work full time so this is only a part time hobby for me but figured I could make some money at it since I sold so much locally and was talked into an Ebay store lol

this last pic is a picture of one in my hair to give you an idea of what is looks like. the clip in the back is actually placed between two pieces of leather/suede (depends on color I use) so it isn't glued on to fall off.

depends on the amount of beadwork I do in the webbing. generally continous time non stop probably about 3 hours to do a big one. hair clips about an hour, haven't really put down a time lol I make them as I see them, I choose bead colors and such as I am working and going along, that is why they are all one of kinds.. I never make two the same ( unless someone specifically ask for two identical) It's what I enjoy doing, creating as I work.

This is nice work, but not Native American Dream Catchers.
They didnt create them for "Holidays" and such.
It appears the center of the Dream Catchers are closed.
The Legend, The beads in the web are Caught Bad Dreams
the Center hole is for Good Dreams to pass thru.
Like I saud your work is great.
Just not Authentic Native American.

Well I will not debate with you about them, the Holiday and some others I make are simply for decoration. I have never claimed they are authtentic, simply one of a kind since i never make two the same. The webbing is closed on the smaller ones because they are HAIR CLIPS meant for decorative wearing during the day not sleeping at night. The ones I make that are meant for the bedroom do not have the center sealed up. I have been making dreamcatchers for at least a dozen years, I am fully aware of the story behind the dreamcatcher. As I said many of what I make are for decoration because not everyone hangs them in bedrooms, some hang them in living rooms, kitchens, vehicles etc simply for decoration. I thank you for your compliments on what you have seen here and for your comments. meegwetch

Just what you need palgirl, another craft. It looks like you're into so many now that I don't see how you can do it. You just caught my eye mostly cause my parents were from Owensboro. those dreamcatchers are neet though but I've got to finish my Spanish Galleon first before I do anything else.
