So, this is (in my opinion) is a valid question.
Why do local women tend to be drawn to the stereotypical local boys (jobless, ignorant, treat women like garbage, abandon their kids, etc.) that give the rest of us a bad name? Then when they're heart broken they always say "are there any good men left?" When the good men come along, they make us pay for what the last BOY's mistakes and reject the love and respect we give them. Pretty much I want to know why some of these women pray for a good man then push him away when he comes along and then graciously accept the scrubs?

It depends on the type of "local" girl you are attracted to. If the type you are looking for are those who have been in a dysfunctional relationship for so long, it's harder to break that cycle when someone good does come along. Expectations are greater from those who don't understand their upbringing or the forms of relationships they have been in. Often times the good guy tries to change them to conform in their way of life. Not easily said than done ??
