As for me ...seriously for 3 years now .... hardly enough time know where to go/to recall what I guess i like the History of the planet and the Life and teachings of Jesus... It's especially interesting to see how it differs from biblical doctern.

meliva Frisco, TX age: 55 online now!	4evr, sorry it took so long to get back. The first time I read the Urantia book was about 20 yrs ago. Of course, perodicaly since. I must admit that I have been slacking in my reading of it in about the last two years. It seems that sometimes when I have a question, I can select a paper and the answer is always there. I consider it to be a reference book. As far as my favorite parts, well I couldn't say. The whole book is such a vast amount of knowledge. Unfortunatly, I do not have a copy on hand, due to giving away all the copies I have aquired over the years in hopes that the people I have given them to would want to know and might read it. Wheither that has been in vain,I do not know. I now go to it sometimes on line and read. What I found interesting when I first read the book was that I felt as if I was not learning anything new, but that I was awakening to knowledge that I already had. Did you have that experience as well? I think that those who read it, and can truly comprehend it are those who it was sent for. I do not think that any one who is not ready for the info,can. Some people are just not ready. Although. I believe that all those who have read it should try to instill an interest in those who are seeking, it is something you just have to be ready for. What I truly love about it is the man they portray Jesus to have been. He was so wonderful, so much more reachable, than what He was in the Bible. I have often said that if He was not as they said He was, then He durn sure ought to have been. I cried when they explained the creation of our Universe, because I could see it in my mind and it was magnificent, I also cried when they recanted the crucifixtion and how His human heart broke because He felt so betrayed and misunderstood, when all he had ever tried to do was spread the love of His Father to mankind and I was ashamed for all those who so misunderstood him. I do believe if nothing else everyone should read the papers on His life and mission on this planet. Well I am rambling. Would love to discuss this more, anytime. Nice to meet you fellow seeker. I just went back and listened to those video's you placed in this thread. I did not know they exisisted. Wow, I had always thouht it would be wise if the govenment had a copy, and suspected that maybe Clinton might have been a reader, I know Bush is not, and that is just too cool to know all those people have read the book. The kingdom of heaven is not a matter of meat and drink but rather a life of progressive righteousness and increasing joy in the perfecting service of my Father who is in heaven. I have not come to add to the heavy burdens of those who would enter this kingdom. I proclaim the new and better way, and those who are able to enter the coming kingdom shall enjoy the divine rest. And whatever it shall cost you in the things of the world, no matter what price you may pay to enter the kingdom of heaven, you shall receive manyfold more of joy and spiritual progress in this world, and in the age to come eternal life. "Entrance into the Father's kingdom waits not upon marching armies, upon overturned kingdoms of this world, nor upon the breaking of captive yokes. The kingdom of heaven is at hand, and all who enter therein shall find abundant liberty and joyous salvation. "This kingdom is an everlasting dominion. Those who enter the kingdom shall ascend to my Father; they will certainly attain the right hand of his glory in Paradise. And all who enter the kingdom of heaven shall become the sons of God, and in the age to come so shall they ascend to the Father. And I have not come to call the would-be righteous but sinners and all who hunger and thirst for the righteousness of divine perfection. "John came preaching repentance to prepare you for the kingdom; now have I come proclaiming faith, the gift of God, as the price of entrance into the kingdom of heaven. If you would but believe that my Father loves you with an infinite love, then you are in the kingdom of God."
