I'm giving serious consideration of deleting. After what happened in 40's chat a couple of days ago I've done a lot of thinking. I've worked really hard to reach the point I'm at in my life now on an emotional level and I really don't want negativity in my life. I woke up with a migraine again this morning and I can't function when I get sick. I'm trying to improve my life and take care of my child. The only reason I've stayed is because I've made a lot of amazing friends from here and it's just easier with everyone being busy to keep in touch.

I've been going less and less to 40s because they aren't nice to each other but I find it amusing that they get so riled up over people they Dont even know.
Dh is addicting at first I'm in here less and less but I still like reading and posting when i can. (Like now I'm in the car on a long road trip and my son is driving and ignoring me!) I just come when I can Don't delete - just have self control - which is easier said than done!

There were people like that here in our very own GAchat. However, with the exception of no balls, they've all deleted from what I can see. We know what the solution to reading the idiotic ramblings of No Balls is.
Although I do miss reading his failed attempts at organizing gatherings. If, in fact, he was a real individual, I hope he someday comes to the realization he has no idea what the hell he is doing.

Why Delete?
Just give DH a break.
You can still talk to regulars
Who you have met in person
On Facebook etc..
To keep up with the real friends you have made.
Anytime my life at home gets busy or complicated.
I just give posting or logging inn a break.
Its pointless to delete.
So many do this..and later regret it and always return only because they feel they have missed something important ..when honestly they

Unless you have posted something saying things you truly regret....then maybe deletion is an open option.
However anyone you may left damaged ..by the comment will still always remember it.
So deleting doesn't really fix things.
I've had my username recycled many times..but not by choice.
Its for always speaking my mind in public forums of those who I feel at times are unjust people.
Georgia chat is a rare group..
Out side the rest of DH.
Most of its members begin here in this room and never travel much further into other DH forums.
The people here unite in person ..so it makes them become more real to each other.
Other forums hardly contain this gift.
So its members are more just chatters...and less efectionate posters among each other.
Places like 40's chat is an international chat board that connects all 50 states and even European countries including Australia.
So many of its members come from all types of different places..and originally from other forums.
Look at a Georgia regular..
And there list of groups will just be Georgia chat.
Its not often you see a Ga reg
Be a member of forums like
Sex and dating
General discussions
Etc..
Most people who come from these other forums are just gossipy trouble makers who arnt always sincere or emotional as the common Ga chat member.
I've learned this over the years by exploring all of DH.
And for a long time only posted in just Ga chat just because of this.
In the past people from other groups have entered Ga chat knowing its members are a rare breed of efectionate people..
And have come here only to stir chaos among its peaceful group.
Yes ..in here we sometimes have the common drama between members ..mostly results from get togethers.
..but keep it just here and don't take it into other forums.
I read some of the arguing that scares you away from 40's
And I'll tell you about those people like Filter ...IMA ..and Etsy.
They were all forum bashers in there early start on DH.
Filter is a friend in my book.
..but will tell you I met in her intros..where she used to bash knew DH members for fun.
..before outgrowing its forum.
And those like Etsy and IMA
All gravitated from areas like profile reviews..where they once spent all day critizing and bashing its non regular posters.
I like them all ..but am just saying there all jagged people.
When comparing them to someone like you ..or..Jules and a few other Ga female regulars , that I see posting there time to time.
Georgia women members are more serious , more compassionate
Than those women who are often from other states over in 40's group. ..because they have never made any out side connection with their fellow members.
I only post this..
So other Ga members are aware of how gossipy and crude ..
The people are who are DH members outside of Game chat.
You have to sometimes have strong finger nails and thick skin ..to survive outside the boundaries of Ga chat.
If not you will find yourself being emotionally hurt, easily at times.

I just want to post I made a mistake in my earlier comment.
..because any of the names I mention in it..
I meant nothing negative towards them..
Other than that I've seen them all bickering over in 40s chat.
I will even admit I do not even know where the bickering began..or what's its all about.
Being I've tried reading some of it...and frankly its pretty much a bunch of immature garbage from grown women constantly slandering each other .
I made the statement that Etsy used to post in P.R.
"..and she informed me I was all wrong"
So I guess I had her confused with some other profile that used to post their commonly.
So Etsy I apologize for not having my information entirely correct..
..and honestly I'm sorry I had to use any member names to be honest...
But my earlier comment had an important point to it.
That goes beyond ..whos right or wrong etc..
The point was that some people tend to enjoy arguing ..teasing past points of extreme..and harassing others as a past time.
I myself at times am such a jackass myself ..
I except others for being a jackass..I have thick skin.
I don't take insults and threats to heart like some people easily do.
The topic of this thread is about someone taking comments to heart and wanting to expire completely from DH , because of such escapades.
I can admit when I'm wrong.
When I make mistakes.
This sets me apart from many other jackasses.
Any how...
My over all point is to all those who don't have thick skin.. to recognize not every one in DH is a sweet bowl of sugar.
If someone causes you greif to the point of feeling like crying or running away.
Try toughen your senses , rally closer to those who you trust..and consider that these people are often just testing your mental state.
....and really mean you no true harm in reality.
Running away or stepping out never helps or better your situation in the long run.
It only postpones the problem, in the over all end.

Only part of it is because of the b*tch fighting in the other chat room. I am who I am. My make up of my personality is just me. I am tough just not mean unless I'm pushed too far. I want a peaceful life. I can only handle so much drama. I don't take personally attacks well at all. I can cut up and have fun but always am considerate of others. I will miss the friends in ga chat as well as a few others from the other room. But the reality it there's priorities that are more important than posting. It's hard to explain but I feel as it's what I need to do. My friends hopefully will keep me updated on the event's and I created this thread as a goodbye. I've had a lot of fun and will truly miss cutting up with everyone. I'm deleting Monday.

Being relatively new I don't know much about any of the other forums - I just never saw the point of engaging in ones that aren't based on geographic location. I mean, why get into anything - good, bad, or otherwise with someone hundreds of miles away? If I had ever been inclined to check out the 40s I think I've read enough here to be adequately discouraged. I put up with enough shit in real life - who wants to deal with it online as well?

There are some wonderful people in the 40's, Unfornately there are some who love to stir the pot. They love to jump on people and say mean things and then when the other person gets upset, they play like every one is so awful to them. Don't let a few posters deter you, there are some really nice people over there!
