When my Ex...and I where courting he was incredibly  sinsitive...Flowers...Kind loving
words...He wouldn't let me carry anything heavy...A true Gentleman..."So I Thought"
After we got married he wouldn't help me carry groceries from the car if I was in whell-chair!!!
Basically everything change...I asked why he never told me he loved me or was as romantic
before we where married? His reply was "I don't  have to anymore"
What was your most disapointing "reality" after marriage?
When I'm dateing someone and it's starts to get serious it's always in the back of my
mind how things change after I was married.

That his dad kept trying to take him away from me and didn't want him to bring me or the baby along. He stood up to his dad and told him family came first. His dad hated me for taking away his baby son but since he has passed on his dad is a lot nicer to me now.

At the wedding ceremony he said "I Reckon" instead of the ususal I do or I will... that hurt me.... and the hurts just kept getting worse....

realizing I was sold a lemon... 
then the cheating... and the 6,000+ spent over a couple of years for hotels and diners with other broads on my credit card account (that's a long story)... and the verbal abuse... well, a lot actually
but the most disappointing aspect is how much time I wasted thinking that "we" could work on it, knowing that only "I" would put any effort into it.

unfortunately i was so young when i got married i did`nt realize what i was getting into. the husband became controling and too needy played too many video games and got chunky. most of the time you always hear about wives getting those post weding problems guys get them to if not worse
