I swear I attract the most assinine, ignorant men. The last one...
I just knew he could be someOne special. Wonderful dates, laughter and respect.. Started getting to where it was going physical and he flat out disappeared. For days.. No texts, no call..nothing. Where there was more texts than I could count to zero.
It was confusing and I finally received a text, "Leave me alone." I asked if his mom was alright if he was and again "Leave me alone."
I did as he demanded, but where there was once hope... There are only questions.
I've met more married men cheating than single men, and it's wondered why walls are so high. I'm now doubting there is another perfect mate for me...am I the only one?

I think it has more to do with the type of person being looked for. Most of the time red flags can be prevented-not always though. Good luck to you.

Hmmmm I'm tired of the players... I figured at these ages they'd be grown up... Lol obviously wrong.

Again its the age range.. Dont put all men in the same catagory... You said till it got physical.. he must have been crazy..... How physical was it? U can e mail me if u want.. that is if u can stand to chat with a guy my age.

Not putting ALLLLL of them there.. Lol!! We got to the point of really wanting to go "there"... I guess HS heavy petting... Then after we said our good nights.... He texted constantly about how sexy, hot and passionate I was, how he was physically (in detail) and he could not wait to see me the following night and that it seemed like weeks away not 24 hours.
Then that morning still same thing, talking like a horny teen not 44... Asked where I wanted to go to diner, what movie...Then it just suddenly stopped... I got ready and waited, texted, called, texted.... Time for the date came and went... 4 hours later a single text, "Leave me alone" nothing more, nothing less just 3 words. I asked him repeatedly if he was alright, his mother... No response for hours... Then "Leave me alone or I'll file a restraining order".
I responded with a "you got it a**hole", deleted and blocked. But to go from 90 to 0... And everything was, well I thought, fantastic. I'm baffled, surprised and curious. At least it was BEFORE I had decided to be a loosey goosey. (And yet men wonder why I wait several, several dates before getting physical.)

You're not alone, SnS. I don't know if what keeps going wrong, but I've had the same thing happen over and over again. I don't know if I'm moving too fast, too slow or if they did a google search and misspelled my name and ended up googling a creep. But going from long text conversations to almost nothing with little explanation seems to be the latest fad. The usual explanation I get is that she's really busy but will text later. So I wait and after a few months of no text, I wonder WTF? I'm going through this same scenario again. I'm trying to be patient and holding out hope that this one is different. But I'm seeing too many similarities to past fizzles. I'm a big boy. If I'm too ugly, too fat, too backwoods, too whatever, just say so. I can take it.

Yeah that's crazy. I'm always honest with someone because it's simple respect to be honest. I don't know why other women would have such a hard time being honest. It's the same on both sides.

Well sadly maybe he was married and chickened out or he is insecure sexually and afraid of facing it or explaining it to you and decided to take the easy way out and run.
Its sad that many men here think online dating is for sex only but there are a few good ones.
I met a great man in florida here and we are best friends. Talk everyday for the past 3 years. We are not compatible and i am not his type yet we are still friends. I also had one good date here where we were not compatible but was the perfect gentleman. There are a few good ones out there. Sounds like his Wife or SO got a hold of his Phone and saw the texts. She was probably the one who sent the last ones. Or he found someone else who was easy.
