hey Girls and Guys....
Why can't we do a "meet singles" at a designated spot in CT?? Use this site to plan and advertise the time, date, ect. Tell all our single friends and do it. Post it and get the word out. If nothing else it gives us an opportunity to talk, share and meet new friends. Say a Thursday evening from 5-8pm...... Love to know what others think

I think your on the right track but finding a place that is central and a time that suits most might be hard. If you post it on this site. You might get a bunch of people. Good thinking!

I'd make an offer but I really don't know central CT very well.
How about a Panera?
There's one in Meriden and one in Newington, those are fairly central state.

This sounds like a really good idea...I wouldn't mind this at all. Anytime is good for me. Make it happen.

There are lots of meetup groups out there. I go to some of the SPARKS events near Danbury for ages 40 and up. Lots of folks belong to this group from CT. Nice people and a variety of events. A good social outlet. However, I am looking for a singles group for those seriously seeking a relationship rather than just a "social." So many guys meet these really nice women and never ask them out, or even for a phone number. They meet, mingle, and leave. What's up??? Don't single people want to connect? Is everyone judging based on looks or preconceived ideas of who they want? Don't they want a chance to get to know these people and what is inside of them?? Just some thoughts.
