Why would you think about getting another dog, especially one that is such a big responibilty, if you have no money and can not properly take care of the one you already have? Before you get any type of dog I would suggest buying some books or going online and doing a lot of research on the breed and what you will need to properly take care of it, food, space, finances, etc. And as far as paying attention...This is the Pet Lovers group. Huskies are a very loving breed, and most people do not understand that they are very LOVING dogs, and are not good candidates for guard dogs. They will lick you to death! I had a male Pup (AKC registered) and then a week after I paid $375 for him (15 years ago) I found a female, wandering loose. She "raised" him, and when he was about 9 months old, he fathered a litter of 9 pups, born on Christmas day. They are really good with other pets; I had many Cats when I had him, and even a ferret,(in Az) and they played together. A Dog's personality is the outcome of how it is raised, If it gets a loving home, it will be a loving pet. But Huskies are very "High-energy Pets, and require alot of one-on-one attention. They are also the perfect Pet, if you do not want a dog that has "Doggie Breath" or "Doggie Odor", and they do not Bark" they "Talk"! They DO shed, and need to have relatively weekly brushing, to keep their coats in good shape. There are groups that do "Cart" racing and training, instead of sleds, for people who live in warm weather areas.
