ive seen many profiles that complain about people giving them the "wink"
and now it seems you can make it so people cant wink at you at all.
what is the proper ettique on the wink
thumbs up to the wink

Would you wink at a girl in public and expect her to respond to you? Or would you at least say hi?

I think if it makes you feel good inside to send a wink to someone . .then go for it! If that person wishes not to respond back . . then that's their choice. I personally enjoy getting winks.

I never wink at a girl in public. Girls are more responsive if you pat 'em on the butt.

Personally I like the winks. Because maybe I might not have that person, if they had not winked at me. And I wouldn't want to pass up a chance to meet great person. Winks are a way to get someones attention, and if you don't like it then maybe your not ready for dating yet...LOL

You can get winks...I have no problem with it, although I gets winks and when I wink back or try to say hi, then they just go silent. What is up with that, why wink at someone if you have no intention of ever communicating with them?

I think the wink gives you a chance to find out if you are going to get a response, and yes a wink back is a response. I know some women complain that it's just a numbers game to a lot of guys who skim profiles and send out winks, but after being shot down time and time again, I personally don't blame them.
Now, after I respond to your wink I want something more than a "Hi". I want you to tell me how you read my profile and think we enjoy the same things or something similar.
