Personally, I am not ready for it. I know it's coming...we ALL KNOW it's coming! So who's ready for it & who's not? Hell, the memories of over the 100 inches we got here last winter is still fresh in my mind so no, I hope it holds off for a long time!

I love snow...and SOUTH DAKOTA? You can have it. Just wait until you're out driving in black ice and 80 MPH winds and it's 22 degrees below zero! NO WAY!! Been there and won't do it again...I quit my job driving through there so I could just drive in Wisconsin snow and if I get stuck somewhere my company can send help and it will be there soon. I won't be trapped in a ditch in the boonies in South Dakota freezing to death.

I do love Wisconsin winters though. Nothing better than waking up to those sparkles on the snowbanks, and fresh fallen snow that sticks to the trees and is so beautiful. Not to mention, being warm on a cold winter night...I just won't say how...keep those imaginations going! lol Annie

Oh and it's "Where's my piece of cardboard to slide with?" I'm not a skier!

Hey Big Dog....what are you doin here in snow country?? If you really like snow, I think you should head this way around Thanksgiving and come and plow my 1/4 mile, uphill driveway Personally, I like Winter, but it would really be nice to have someone carry in the wood! It's pretty nice here in the boonies when the snow flies, as long as I don't have to get out. Just fire up the wood stove, cook up a pot of Venison stew, put on some good music, and just stare out the windows and watch the snow fall..PS 4-wheel drive is a +...

Snow.......Thats that cold frozen stuff that falls from the sky right?

I LOVE it.We just dont get much of it in my area.We get the ice storms but the actual snow skirts us and hits Asheville,NC or the Mntns.Anyone ever tried snow cream? My Gramma in KY used to make that stuff. Was it good. Here if we even get a mention of a flurry everyone goes crazy and rushed out to by bread and milk til the shelves are empty. Are they crazy? If I am gonna get snowed in and need comfort foods I wasnt Pepsi, Doritoes and Reecees cups.....
