I don't hear from them no more. I'm new at this. Am I giving too much details about myself? I don't feel like I am saying too much. Just kinda answering there questions and asking some of my own. Someone help me out here. Thanks!

hey girl, been there also. just have to keep trying. if it is one you would really like to know, ask him what you are doing wrong. lots of these guys are just as scared as we are, and maybe just don't know where to go with it. and alot are just testing the water. who can figure them out?? good luck, sometimes it takes weeks before you get one that wants to get things started..

Thanks Connier. I was thinking maybe I email them back tooooooo quick. If I'm online I talk then, but I do go to work every day. I'm normally online in the evenings only. I lost my husband of 25 years a few months ago so the dating stuff is all new to me.

Yellowcam, I know what you are talking about. I have emailed a few, but I don't even get a reply back at all so I really wonder what I am doing wrong. I guess we should just keep trying, but to be truthful I am just about ready to quit emailing anyone.

I can relate to what you are talking about, it's like I am invisable or something. Guess we just have to go with the flow and not take it to seriously.

Don't take it personal..you are probably not doing anything wrong. Have some friends on here who have expressed some of these same difficulties. They in turn know others...not sure what is up with it. Have emailed several men, some who made contact with me and some with whom I have made the first contact. There are all kinds just as there are all kinds of women. Do be aware and ask around if things are suspicious. There are some that you do not want to get mixed up with and one of my friends is pretty knowlegable about who to avoid. They will usually give themselves away...just be observant. Do not give up...this is the same advice that I was given from my friends.

Thank you so much ladies for great advice. I was wondering should I try to email some of this guys back and asked them what the issue is. Of course, they probably will not response so why waste my time. Thanks again for the advise.

Years ago...right after I began actually 'dating' after Larry died...I went through very much the same thing...I finally ended up writing a NEW profile that started off "What the Hell is Wrong with men these days?"....I LITERALLY unloaded about the rudeness..the 'no response' to emails...telling everyone just how tired I was of playing their silly games...etc.etc.etc....
and...OMG....all heck broke loose in my mailbox within about two days !!!!
I've NEVER gotten so many responses to a singles profile...and they were mostly GOOD responses! Men...pouring their heart and souls out...about how THEY had been treated..and how they didn't trust the internet...how women lie about their ages..their body style..likes/dislikes...etc.etc....
It was really pretty eye opening...and...I met SEVERAL gentlemen from that profile who were all really good decent men ! I also made some long lasting friendships with it.
So...
I think it goes both ways
and...PS...SILVERCHARM...I think you are an amazingly beautiful woman ! I hope I look HALF as beautiful as you when I'm your age !!! (Contact Frank girl ) LOLOL
