So, stop in say "Hello", tells us about your day or add a thought of the day or a joke, something. If you are shy just post the little blue guy waving .

Come on, let's get to know each other...............

Well for me, I don't see a lot of topic threads that hold my interest. Better entertainment in the general forums. I keep passing by each day in hopes of finding something new and worth talking about.

Well see, stop "stopping" by, if it's slow make your own posts!
Gotta be a go-getter around here because they sure aren't coming to us...

time for some one liners:

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice?"

Looking for the Grail huh?

Could be Harrison Ford (didn't we mention him already), or even Robin Williams esque though.

Awesome film!

Thanks Liatris! I don't think I want to put lemons in my bra!! I'm big enough!!

I just came back from Oklahoma Sunday morning! I went to see my son graduate from basic training for the National Guard. Racked up a big credit card bill and then got hit with unemployment on Monday!!

Twas funny tho, when I went out there, I wanted to stay there!! Guess if I can't find a job here, I'm driving out west! There are always jobs around and on a military base.

I'll dance with you ladies! Great workout!! hehehe

And please, call me Rain!

Maybe that's where this thread can go - where do you ultimately want to live? Or how's your job going - is it secure? Or Do you like to dance?

hehe.... dance like an idiot....

There were two ladies.
Both happily married and both very attractive.
They were faithful to their husbands.

Every so often they have a ladies night where they both go out and have some drinks and go dancing, everything you would think of on a ladies night out. Hours went by and they decided it's time to head home.

They decided to walk home both knowing that they have drank way to much and a little walk would be fun. As they walk home, one of the ladies said that she has to go to the restroom. The second lady agrees but didn't know where the closest restroom was. They both saw a cemetery and thought that they could pop a squat right there.

The first lady bent over and peed but didn't have anything to wipe herself. So she used her underwear and tossed them to the side. The second lady peed by a bush, and not wanting to throw a good pair of underwear away, she lookd around for something. She saw a wreath with a ribbon on it and decided to use it. They continued home and went to bed.

The next day the husband of the two ladies met for a beer and said that they need to put and end to this girls' night out. The first husband said that his wife came home without any panties on. The second husband said that's nothing, my wife came home with a ribbon hanging out of her panties saying "We will miss you, THE FIRE DEPARTMENT!"

I needed those! Thanks Beadz and Liatris!! And welcome to our chats funmom!

A little old lady was walking down the street dragging two large plastic garbage bags behind her.
One of the bags ripped, and every once in a while, a $20 bill fell out onto the sidewalk.
Noticing this, a policeman stopped her, and said, 'Ma'am, there are $20 bills falling out of your bag.

'Oh, really? Darn it!' said the little old lady. 'I'd better go back and see if I can find them. Thanks for telling me.'
'Well, now, not so fast,' said the cop. 'Where did you get all that money? You didn't steal it,did you?
'Oh, no, no', said the old lady. 'You see, my back yard is right next to the football stadium parking lot. On game days, a lot of fans come and pee through a knot hole in the fence, right into my flower garden. It used to really tick me off. Kills the flowers, you know.
Then I Thought, 'why not make the best of it?' So, now, on game days, I stand behind the fence by the knot hole, real quiet, with my garden pruners. Every time some guy sticks his pecker through my fence, I surprise him, and say, 'O.K., buddy! Give me $20, or off it comes.' '

Well, that seems only fair, ' said the cop, laughing. 'OK. Good luck!
Oh, by the way, what's in the other bag?'

'Well, you know', said the little old lady, 'not everybody pays.'

Hi, beadz, Mary aka scarfs and Rain. We had funmom stop and say hello this morning and of course the lovely eque from yesterday

How was your day everyone?

Okay, no one, nothing............................

Hey, remember when we were kids. We would go to the playground check to see who was there, if any of our friends were there, if not we'd look around and find another kid or a group of kids doing something that looked fun. than go up to that person or group and ask to join in.....................poof instant friends.............shared interest.........common friends.............. Any of this ringing a bell with anyone.............

That is all I am trying to do here, I have gotten to know some absolutely wonderful people on this site by getting involved in the forums. The problem is that these people are from every where else in this country but CT.

To those of you have stopped by, I thank you, do not worry you are stuck with me

And to the very nice() lady who emailed me this:

"Who do you think you are the f*****g welcome wagon, would you go jump in a lake."

Sure, I'll jump right after you, honey..........just don't wait for me.

Good morning all!!

A little chilly today. Going to be a long boring day at work as I have nothing to do. Tomorrow should be just as bad. A lot of friction because of the closing. Someone wants to bring in a voodoo doll of the owner!!! His eye is swollen and we don't know why! hehehehe I sure hope they give us more than 2 weeks severance - which I doubt I will get since I've only been there 2 years.

But what I say is "Oh well......!"

Making the best of my situation and keeping my chin up!

Liatris, I can't believe that someone wrote that to you!! Did you write her back or just ignore her? Too bad we can't boot idiots like that off the forums - or even this site! Imagine how many nice people would actually be out there for us to become friends with or even date.

Well, headed to work now. Catch you all later and have a wonderful day!

Good Morning,

echinacea, thanks for joining us, understandable choice of video, although I like the cute ones better

Beadz, Mary and Rain, have you met echinacea, he has a interesting sense of humor and actual respect for woman in general. Did you see the pictures he posted in one of the threads were a guy was looking for a woman with no strings attached......And sadly his smoking monkey thread died a slow death.

I get the most bizarre stuff from people on here, which was another reason I thought to see who were up to becoming friends, exchanging information about the weirdos is important..

I am off and running, have a great day to all who have stopped by, to any as uf yet to stop by and to those who just pass by as well..

Hey Everyone,

Hope all is well with you. My day was long and not nearly over yet. Homework with the kids, boy scouts for my eldest. Need to make sure every thing is ready for Halloween, for the kids of course.

I just noticed Ct Chat is down to 86 members, I sure hope I am not scaring anyone off.

Just a little information I picked up today about the

Software Development Process

1) Order the T-shirts for the Development team

2) Announce availability

3) Write the code

4) Write the manual

5) Hire a Product Manager

6) Spec the software
(writing the specs after the code helps to ensure that the
software meets the specifications)

7) Ship

8) Test
(the customers are a big help here)

9) Identify bugs as potential enhancements

10) Announce the upgrade program

Oklahoma is looking better and better

Dad at the Mall

I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes (he is 92). We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.

When the teenager had had enough, he sarcastically asked, 'What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?'

Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response, knowing he would have a good one, and in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response. 'Got drunk once, and had sex with a peac*ck. I was just wondering if you were my son.'

Good Morning one and all,

I finally got oil delivered this morning and now the weather has warmed up, go figure. But the good news is that the tank of oil today was over $200 less than it was last year on the same day.................

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Let's see we have Beadz, Rain, Echinacea, Mary aka Scarfs, Monty_Pyton, has stopped by, Funmom, Fatboy and Eque have all made an appearance in this thread, so I wish you all the best today has to offer. And anyone else who wishes to stop by.

I will leave you with this,
Harriet, refusing to give in to the looks of growing old, goes out and buys a new line of expensive cosmetics guaranteed to make her look years younger.

After a lengthy sitting before the mirror applying the "miracle" products, she asks a delivery man, "Before you go, may I ask what age you think I am?"

Looking over her carefully, the driver says, "Judging from your skin, 20; your hair, 18; and your figure, 25."

"Oh, you flatterer!" she gushes.

"Hold on there, lady!" he says. "I haven't added them up yet!"

Sunday after Halloween.

Please everyone, it has come to my attention that a lot of people are not posting in Ct Chat due to the nature of some of these threads. I started these light and fun threads because it is my belief that as a rule there is a heck of a lot nicer people here than the creeps. So, I would like anyone who is uncomfortable with some of the threads on here to flag them as I have. The sex pole is totally inappropriate for a chat forum, this site has a place for that........

To those who have emailed and support this, thank you........Let's try and make Ct Chat a place where people are comfortable.

I agree Liatris ...the problem is I already Blocked the person who started the thread because I thought he ..not just his threads were inappropiate ...so it didn't let me reply to the thread ...But I did report it. I think we can have some great fun on this site ..and even flirtatious fun...but honestly ,my most intimate thoughts would never be shared with just anyone. And I wanted to "Clap" for echinnacea" ...He brought some huMANity back to that post !!! ...Mary

Hello, what is that 111111l. Welcome to Ct Chat. we are for the most part a great group of people.

I have come to the conclusion many of us are on this site at different times. We do like when some one new stops by..

The weather this week it to warm up, with some sixty degree days

Feel free to say hello, add a joke or two, or just wave

Ct Chat is now back up to 88 members.........

I don't think Rain stopped by today.

I hope everyone had a great weekend..........

Hello CT!
Sorry I didn't Rain in lately!! Been busy! Enjoyed the weather very much yesterday. Went hiking in Manchester with ActiveSingles. First timer for me with them! Hadn't hiked in a loooong time. I had to wear my sneakers, so, I went to step up on a big flat rock and my left foot slipped on the leaves and I fell on the rock! Broke my camera! Oh well........

I spent so much time outside and running around yesterday that when my neighbor came to visit last night and watch a movie with me that I fell asleep on him! Boy was that rude of me!! But I slept all night long! First time in a long time. Oh it felt soooo good!

But anyway, Hello all! I will probably be on here a lot to throw my two cents worth in while I am job hunting. Maybe going back to school too! Choices, choices!

So glad you noticed me Liatris!
