personally, i'd rather have a real good friend/roomie than sex. friends w/benefits always gets screwed up in the long run. can get laid anywhere, any time. why drag a friend into it?

FWB has never worked for me. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I get emotionally attached. I certainly wouldn't involve my kids or have him meet my kids if he was not going to be around for awhile. If I had a really good friend who I wanted to have sex with then I would also want a relationship from him, that's just being honest with myself and him.

Not, to lady like. I am priceless and would never have sex with any man except me husband. So my opinion save your treasures until you are married.

I can't do that to my child or to myself. With me sex usually involves some kind of emotional attachment and it's not something I want to bring my son into.

I would say no. STDS are too common these days and you don't know how many other friends that friend has benefits with. Has to be a relationship. I would hate to have my son see that anyway. It would only teach him to do that when he grows up. And, if you are that good of friends you might as well just date and be committed.
