 Yes...I would love to have a group like this. I am a shared caregiver to my mom..who has terminal liver disease. We are caring for her in her home along with my sisters and brother. It hasnt been easy!

 Being the sole caregiver of my disabled mother , I understand how hard it can be . Specialy when its a child who has to take care of a parent . Yes it can be extremely depressing . And those who haven't been in a similar situation just can't fully understand what we have to go through .

 Yes, it would be nice to have a group that understands the hard work and constant need to remain strong and positive. People who are going through or have gone through will understand the exhaustion but need to keep going and will have good suggestions (from experience) of what to do to keep strength. They will also have tips on how to handle various needs ... medical, legal, and spiritual.

 Being a retired RN and realizing many have taken on the daunting task, with love, the responsibility of being a caregiver should have a common place were they can meet and discuss the trials and rewards of their day. Many have children or parents whom they must attend to everyday and need a place to vent.

 I was the caregiver for my mother for a year. She had lung cancer and was completely dependent on me for everything. We had major issues and a group such as this would have been so helpful then and now that she passed this month, I find I still need help in learning how to live without someone depending on me.  I took care of my husband with frontal lobal dementia prior to his death. The stress level was horrible ....... I absolutely vote for this one.........believe me, anyone who cares for someone in this situation needs all the support he/she can get.....and all the respect too....God bless you all.
