Hi, I am relatively new here. I have posted a few times in the past week or so but I did not introduce myself until now. I am currently in San Antonio, TX and I am in process of packing, sorting, and discarding years of "stuff" preparing for my move to Lancaster, PA next week.
Hope to become a regular here in the coming weeks.
I am originally from Massachusetts, have daughters and grandkids in Pennsylvania and Connecticut and am moving to be closer to them. I have been in Texas for the past 28 years and miss the four seasons, especially the fall foliage. Yes, I even miss the cold weather - I might regret making that statement, but I don't think so.
It is amazing how much JUNK we accumulate but do not realize it until we start packing it and when the move is on your nickel, it is fascinating how we can easily toss it than to pay to ship it!!!!!
The movers leave with my stuff next Wednesday and I have to get to the Lancaster area before they do and find a place. I am interested in finding a 2 bedroom apartment a little east of Lancaster because one of my daughters lives in Christiana, PA. If anyone can recommend a complex, please use my profile to send me an email. Thanks.
Hope to become a regular in Chat and I plan on catching up with everyone if there are Meet and Greets in the Lancaster / York area.

You will have to take a trip to Wellsboro and visit the Grand Canyon during the Fall season. Very beautiful here then. I could be your tour guide. lol
