I don't know about finding love on ANY site, really. I view this as just another internet site to try and meet people. I assume that people on this site are generally lonely like myself, and exploring every possibility to try and find somebody. Do I think I'm going to fall in love with somebody I meet on here? Logical me says probably not, but hopeful me says who knows? In any event, it takes a lot more than a few messages at a dating site to decide if you really love anybody.

Anything is possible, but odds are against it. I did meet a fantastic woman on here several months ago, but it just didn't work out. Bad timing on both of our parts. So, it's possible. I got on here (3 days ago) because I had no idea how to go about meeting people or talking to people. If you can't talk, you can't meet. If you can't meet, you can't fall in love. In three days I have talked with several wonderful women. Of course they are 500-2000 miles away, but hey, it's a start.(and I just heard from someone a mere 80 miles away. YES!) You gotta love talking or there is no point to this. So I'm pretty positive about it. On the other hand I didn't come into it expecting instant relationship.

I gave up looking for someone from a dating site.I have met a few here and things just didn't work out.
One person was not who she said she was like and the other wasn't ready for anything.
I have found that there are plenty of single women out there.I talk to a few of them now,nothing really serious as we are still getting to know each other and then I will decide which one I like best when and if that time comes.Already leaning towards one but who knows,anything can happen.The one I am not really giving much thought to is on the rebound,never a good situation.

when you want to buy a car do you take the first one uhhh no you test drive one or two

If you live in a heavily populated area, then you might have better luck just going out now and then. For some of us in the more rural areas, we don't have quite the selection to sort through so sites like this can be helpful. Not sure about finding true love, you find it where you find it, if you're lucky to find it at all.
It seems to me that folks are more hesitant these days to make a commitment. No one sits down and writes "love letters" anymore. How romantic is a "love email" anyway? The same with cards....e-cards are nice enough, but going to the mailbox and having a card with a nice note is kinda cool. i guess with all this cyber stuff, we sometimes forget to get someone's address. Maybe that's not a bad thing at first, but to me it shows maybe we don't really know the people we want to get to know. Just a thought.

I have really tried to be nice on here lately but, what is up with all these negitive people lately. That kind of attitude is disgusting. Why don't you learn to phrase your sentences and spell right before you come on here bashing people. Love has no color. I can't stand ignorance.
