Ok, Sooooooo its out in the open now and well, cool, Theres some grounds rules that need to be posted,

1.) If you intend on coming camping you need to get a hold of me to reserve a site with us. Its $20.00 to reserve and $20.00 at the door. Thats to pay for the six live bands.

2.) You can drink anything you want, BUT keep in mind that some will be bringing there families(children)

3.) Conduct unbecoming of the group,YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND WILL as a friend of mine is coming and he is a SHERIFF and I'm deputy dog!

4.) If you decide that your coming for the day please let me know anyway, So that we may greet you.

5.) If you feel the need to volunteer for music or food for the potluck let me or Patty know.

6.) If you have a travel trailer or RV contact the camp ground directly for your space

These are all pretty basic rules to follow and this should be a really great party, Its our second one and not our last!

It'd be nice if we could get some volunteers for:
Group activities
Food (Potluck dinners)
Supplies (firewood,ice,etc,etc...)
Camp site music
Fuel cost for water crafts

And are we gonna open this up to parents with kids?, gotta have entertainment for them!

I will be bringing a great group game apples to apples...Totally fun the more the merrier...

The first pic is of the upper area, and usually for Travel trailers and RV's We'll be down lower in the group area, Which is 50ft away from the water.

The second pic, Well it is what it is...LOW WATER.... This lake is maintained by Tacoma Public Utilities and supplies most of Tacoma electricity, so naturally it's low this time of year. Dont worry folks there's gonna be plenty of water by July

That is a great pic of the group area where we'll be. Its actually very long in length and should fit most all of us in.

We are going to reserve two extra sites just incase we have more then expected

This is where it gets tricky for bringing boats, To launch you actually have to go to Mossyrock park and launch(Fee of $5.00). The campgroung itself doesnt have a launch worth speaking of unless its a small row boat or something like that.

BB asks a very good question on friends chat reguarding this years campout:

Patty or Daniel
Just to get it straight in my head do we pay the $20.00 deposit now and then pay the $10.00 for the music while we're there? I'm sure that's what it cost me last year.
BB

The Answer is because its $20.00 for the site and after the first 4 people(and believe me we have more then 4 people) its $3.00 per person, per a day, Plus $5.00 per nite for music. So its actually $16.00 at the door. I figured if you got change from Ivy(campground owner) you'd be happier then just droppin a twenty.

Last year, we got off like big dogs and didnt pay the three dollars a head for extra bodies.

Some of the members have donated more then $20.00, Cliff and Patty both have donated $50.00 ea.

Anyone who has paid me for cash has the right to ask me for a copy of expenses regarding the campout, But i will not post it online as it has real names on it. Patty has a copy but its not update as of this weekend.

Things are coming right along...
The Lake is very low with good reason...The snow pack is fairly high this yr and when it melts the lake will be full...They keep the lake low this time of yr to allow room for the snowmelt...I get the whitepass ski report each morning and they are sitting with A good bunch of snow and this mornings report said more snow all week expected...

Oh and if any of you think you may possibly be wanting to come be sure to speak up..It is important that we have a running head count...And dont forget that we are also collecting fuel money for the boats...Fishing is awesome and we do plan on fishing...I priced lures needed yesterday...OUCH...And now I feel extra guilty about sending all that fishing gear to the bottom of the lake...It was probably $15 worth...Hey maybe we can do our own fishing derby too...Maybe give a prize for biggest fish...Smallest fish(I would have won last yr)...Most fish...Oh this will be fun...
So we will need to supply fuel money for the boats too...And it is well worth doing that cuz this is awesome fishing...

Love the pics of my hunny......

You know me and my two boys (plus a friend or two of theirs) will be there and Cliff with us also. (So that is two tents total for us) (Plus Cliff's truck and my van)

I can help out with anything you want me to. I can start making a list of group activities for everyone....they can either choose to participate or not. I will do a list of ones for adults, one for kids, and one for both adults and kids together.

I know that charades is a great camping game. There is always cards as well. Any other ideas people?

You know I will be bringing food as well. I have a little boombox that you can listen to CD's on that I can bring also. It is not much but it is something.

**As Dunital has stated (and thank you for that Daniel)....I am bringing my kids. Please exercise some control and behavior when around any child at the campground. This is a family gathering and meant to be fun for all.

I look forward to all that are coming and to a lot of fun with everyone.

OK....I have been told to "grab the bull by the horns" so to speak in order to get this thing going.....

I will keep track of the Potluck Saturday meal. Is this a lunch or dinner meal on that day for everyone? Email me what you will be bringing so that I can keep track for Patty and Daniel.

I am also working on group activities for that day as well. Any ideas??

Do you all have music to contribute also? If not...hope your satisfied with country and 80's and 90's music.

I look forward to this event with everyone and hope to have lots of fun.

last yr we BBQ ed up big rib steaks...
Unsure what to get this yr...
hot dogs are a must for camping...
I brought music last yr and did not play any cuz the whole campground seemed to be playing music...I have lots of great music...new and old...
I will be bringing along swimming tubes...We were short on life jackets last year...Be sure to bring them if you have them...
Last yr I brought wood...I brought clean mill ends...I will try to get some again...It was nice...I know others said they would bring wood too...
Last year it was hot and sunny...

Cross your fingers for the same this time around...
As far as drinks everyone bring their own and we will have the Tiki Bar going...We wil have to check with Daniel on what he wants us to stock it with...Probably some of the blue tequila...
