My reason for this stance is that being a "divorcee" had a loser, slutty lable, probably created by insecure men so that their women wouldn't divorce them. I've heard, men say that if a woman is divorced, she is more likely horney as hell, missing what she once had, henceforth, an easy hit. I especially don't think employers should differenciate on applications. What would be the difference between a single or a divorced woman or man in the workplace? Not talkin about married, just single or divorced, are you going to attach something dirty, failure or used to one rather than the other, even though single people do all the same things divorced people do. Lables can be bad, avoid when possible. In the dictionary, single means unmarried, it does not mean never married. JMO Channa
