I myself am ex army and i know a lot of soldiers who claim since being in the service women use them more than ever before,so im curious ladies is it just a coincidence(sp?)or are all us soldiers just destined to be screwed over by girls(yes girls,because its childish to do to someone who puts his neck on the line for ya) i know its not ALL women ill get that out of the way now lol there certainly are great women out there i have heard the stories anyways let me know what you think

You have just run into the wrong women thus far. All women are not like this. I have two daughters in their twenties and they would never treat a military man badly. I would never treat a military man, or any man for that matter, badly. Most people, women and men, respect all branches of the military for the sacrifices they have made for their country and for us as citizens. I personally wish to thank you for your service and I wish you the best of luck in finding that special girl who will be the love of your life.

I have noticed this as well when I lived on Ft. Bragg down in NC. I moved in with a friend of mine and his wife. Well within a week of him leaving she her house became a revolving door of MEN! It seemed like every day she had a new guy she picked up at the bar. She MIGHT stick with him for MAYBEY a few weeks but past that she would not! She also always complained about her husband having no back bone. HELLO no backbone he is the one going over seas to get shot at so you have money in your pocket! I saw this happen to MANY of the men and it REALY REALY pissed me off. NOT all women are like that but you are right that a large majority SEEM to be! I was discusted at what I saw wives do to their husbands but it also went the other way around i saw men cheat on their wives when they were overseas!
Personaly I think the majority of millitary spouces and gfs/bfs are ANGRY that their SO has chosen this kind of path. I think they are angry that they can't be with them all the time and they take it out anyway that they can!
I was realy saddend to see what I saw on the millitary base. These men and women go overseas and could die at any moment the least they could get is loyalty at home. I deeply respect the men and women in the military. I know I don't have half the guts that they do and they deserve ALOT better then what they are geting.

I think it may be the "girls" you are meeting. My father was in the military and he and my mother had a wonderful relationship. I think it is a maturity factor on their parts. Someday you will meet a woman who respects you and appreciates all you have done and sacrificed for our lives. Good luck.

I am sure not all girls do. me personally when i meet someone who is or was involved in the military I treat them with respect and I have dated a guy who was in the national guard who treated me like shit because he was sketched out..

I cant imagine treating someone badly just because they are from the military. Personaly, I wish I could find one to date. I have so much respect for what they do for us.

Hon, in reply to your real question abut women screwing over our troops, not all women are like that. My daughter's young man is a U.S. Marine in Japan. he has been gone since November of 2007. Yet, she still loves him, heart and soul. She is a brave little woman who is considering a career as a military nurse. Not all young men and women have her's and her sweetheart's level of courage.
Some girls are simply afraid of giving their heart to fighting men. They fear the car pulling up front in front of their house, with a message they don't want to hear. They fear being handed a folded flag. (I have my father's flag in my bedroom. It sometimes brings tears to my eyes, still, when I see it.) Some women just don't have the courage or the stamina to stand by a military man. I suggest you keep looking for the woman who does. It is her sweet smell and handwriting that will keep you warm on those cold lonely nights, when you are so far away from home. It is her heart that you want. You'll find her. And she will be worth the wait. I promise you that.

I will always think that that military personal should be respected, but I am starting to think that most of the people that went overseas came back with thier own set of issues(even if they won't admit it)that prevent them from having a so called "normal relationship)

Treating someone badly because of the choices they've made in their careers is ridiculous... Maybe you're looking at the wrong women? Personally, I love a man in uniform.

If I had a military man, I'd never treat him badly....well, I can't see myself treating anyone badly, on purpose atleast. I admire anyone in the military! How do you military guys keep on finding bad girlfriends? First, find one that is willing to send you mail everyday, and cry when you have to leave yet again. Not some pretty girl you met for a few hours, made love to, and expected her to be stay faithful.

There's a lot of bitter women out there dude. The ones that are angry typically don't like military anything because it typifies what they don't like about the male gender. Run from 'em, there's too many fun and happy ones out there. Good luck.

Thank you. I had a woman that was cheating on me while I was away.
It turns out from my perspective that most women I meet want the bad guys...they apparently want ex-cons, to be mistreated and smacked around, and to have multiple partners. What is wrong with a man wanting to find that "special-one" and start a life together...its not brain surgery, or is it?

Alot of Women I hear cling unto Military Men because they know the Benefits they get if they get Married and all and Cash benefits they get after the Military men get out of the Army,Navy,whatever they're In. My Father was in the Army and saw this alot,but that was in the 60's,I doubt it's changed much. Girls just go to the Military bars and cling unto the First Soldier they'll lay Eyes on. I think they cheat because they're heart's Aren't really into it. My Stepbrothers new Gf he met on Base but they knew eac Other before they got together,I have a Feeling she was "Servicing" the Troops. She seems like a Nice girl,but she says she was Hanging round the Base alot......yeah if Your doing that,esp if You don't have a Steady Bf or Husband,yeah...

I can tell you that military men in uniform turn me on bad and I would never treat anyone especially a military man like that. I lost my son to the Iraq war  and know his wife was one of these women and now she gets like 11k a month from his death. Believe me when I say there are those out there who will use and abuse you and try to get you to get careless while deployed, but not me!!!
