Though I find lots of dates, most seem to be incapable of continuing a relationship beyound sex. Sex is easy to find but where are the ones who want more?

above sounds like we r in the same boat..i can't seem to find a good man that can offer me more than sex..so i definitely feel ya on this one..and i do feel it's harder to find the one later in life..i got married young and had a family young..never imagined i would get to my 40's and be alone...ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I agree, married when I was 16 to a girl that was 19. Ended up raising three boys alone with absolutely no contact from here for the last 16 years. The last will be a senior this year, so I'm kind of willing to try again, or at least see what's out there.

i wish u all the best!!!..its definitely a sad thing to get to this part of life and not have someone to share it with..i told my mom the other night i don't understand why men r so afraid to take on the responsibilities of a relationship...they feel safer just being a friend or bf..which to me means they don't want the responsibilities of running a home...meeting for sex seems to be totally ok with the guys that approach me..talk about anything more deep and they r gone like the wind!

I've seen the same thing but from the other side. I've been dating a girl for the last six months that keeps making appointments, missing them and calls the next day and wants to rescedule. I told her I was tired of being disapointed and no longer trust her. Of course this wasn't over night though. Its been going on for a while. So yea, its hard to find a decent relationship. Got any advise to offer. I'm all ears.

i wish i knew the magic word to make all relationships last forever..i want so much the type of relationship i used to hear my grandparents and great grandparents talk about..where r them type of men at today...im so tired of being the "man of the home" wishing to meet that one that will do his part and allow me to do my part as well!

I think that would be wonderful. Finding someone you can't live without regardless of today's circumstances would be awesome.

I got married when I was in my mid 30s and thought it would be til death do us part. Never quite worked out that way. Now I'm in my 40s searching for a soulmate and what am I attracting??? Either great men who live too far or undesireables
