So, we all know how men get women with animals. They have a cute small dog, woman comes over and pets it then a conversation starts. Do u think that if a woman has a large dog or some awesome pet would a man be interested in the woman? I have two small dogs so I don't think this would work with me but my sister has a boxer. She is married but when she takes her dog to the dog park guys start talking to her.

I know that a friend of mine met her husband while they were both walking dogs. At least you know you have something in common. He has an Irish setter. Not sure what kind of dog she had.

This may sound pathetic but I don't see how you are single pink, I mean some guy has to fit your bill and I know you have alot trying to get your attention.

Sorry just had to say that. Anyway It is men that need the gimmicks not woman, and if woman use gimmicks they typically use, halter tops, mini's and such. Now if you want to break from those then sure a dog could work, take it to a dog run. It's a stable place you're not walking around or just by someone. You will be in a fixed location and that will give a guy the time approach you.

You kidding right? What "real man" likes those damn little ankle biters. Chichihuas are just overgrow rats and dogs are not "accessories". I can appreciate a woman that likes dogs but if she has one it better be trained. If she can't train it I will.

If you want a dog because you like them and their companionship then get one. If you are getting it to meet a guy then forget it. Just get a couple of baloons to carry around to get things going. If you do want a dog my advise is to get a small one. They are a lot less to take care of and they are welcomed a lot more places than larger ones. Just don't dress them up. They are dogs, not babies. Train them and they will be welcomed at many places.

Sure because their large dog would work well with my large dog. I love large dogs. I once saw a petite woman about 5 foot tall weighing about 100 lbs and walking two huge Great Danes. I definitely stopped and talked to her, but she was married

I'll talk to anyone with a animal. If it's a woman or man, makes no difference, I am there to get aquainted with the animal...LOL The more exotic the pet, the better, Some people like certain breeda of dogs, I am more into reptiles. But the size means nothing.....at least that's what most of you have been saying.

I've had more big dogs. Great Pyrenees, and a mastiff mix. I want a Great Dane or a Mastiff if I'm ever able. Big dog, short hair, lots of walkies.

They do attract attention, but sometimes that's a pain.

And you have that nice dog park in Burns Park....soooo jealous here! I took my dog there a couple times and had men talking to me both times. Hmmmm..... Once I move to Hot Springs next month, maybe I should do a weekly trip there.... let the kids race BMX, take a walk around the perimeter, and play at the dog park. Sounds like a winner to me!

Funny my chocolate Lab weighs in at 115 lbs and he doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body.
I wouldn't consider a 115 lb dog to be in the medium range.

I dislike big dogs.

....having a big ol penis on view in your living room all the time can be a little unpleasant when you have guests....especially when your dog starts to lick it.

...I suppose I should wear pants and stop putting peanut butter on it.

I am retired now, and I travel a lot. My Bolognese buddies travel well, and they are immediately conversation starters with almost everyone (male or female) everywhere. They are great little dogs: But I did not get them to meet women - that is a bad reason for getting a dog. Pictured with me is Tipton, and the other is Sultan, and they are the best dogs I have ever had. (Tipton grew up in my "big truck," and he is very well traveled and socialized with friends all over the country)

Female dogs will lick themselves in plain view as well as any male dog. Even more when they
come in heat.

You just don't have the penis part of the equation to deal with.

First thing is, you don't need a attracting lure, second, study breeds, my parents have big dogs, my sisters have big dogs, my parents German Shepard weighs 132# she is the most amazing dog, very very protective, but not aggressive, gentle giant, their Golden Retriever is 138# and very gentle as well. I think they complement each other. Little dogs are cool too, nice easy to maintain companions, but not very good at protection. Get a dog that suites your needs,,,
