First off, I do know that this is not the state that I would be having this conflict with. I don't want to put it in the state I have problem with because I don't want the red flags to go up if someone from that state, in that area and field might be on this site. I don't want to take any chances. Here's the question. How do I go about finding or seeking out a lawyer in another state because of neglect/malpractice or whatever you might want to call it over a sibling without that lawyer being within the network of the hospital/hospitals?
Thanks.

Most states have some sort of legal referral group. I would search that state....should find something...good luck...sorry to hear about the problem...

What you can do is talk to an attorney in your area and see if they can refer you to someone in the other state or provide a number to someone that can give you the informaiton to find an attorney. Or simply get on the internet yellow pages to that state and start calling attorneys. If you ask them if they represent any hospitals or medical facilities, the secretaries should be able to provide that information without conflict of interest.
